Localized milled golf club face
A wood-style golf club head includes a strike face and a body that cooperate to define a hollow internal club head volume. The strike face formed from a strike plate having an outer perimeter and a frame surrounding the strike plate. The strike plate is affixed to the frame across the entire outer perimeter. The strike plate and frame define a continuous ball striking surface that has a surface texture characteristic of milling that extends continuously across both the strike plate and the frame.
CUTTING INSERT AND CUTTING TOOL EQUIPPED THEREWITH
A cutting insert for groove machining is provided, which includes a front cutting edge, a chip breaker groove extending from a rear direction of the front cutting edge in a lengthwise direction of the cutting insert, land portions formed on both sides of the chip breaker groove, and inclined surfaces in continuity with the land portions and extending from the land portions to a rear direction of the cutting insert, in which a distance in a transverse direction between left and right walls of the chip breaker groove gradually increases from an entrance of the chip breaker groove toward a boundary between the land portions and the inclined surfaces, and then gradually decreases upon passing the boundary, and the cutting insert is symmetrical about a longitudinal center line thereof.
PORTABLE MACHINE TOOLS, KITS, AND METHODS FOR MACHINING ANNULAR AND STRAIGHT PLANAR SURFACES
Methods comprise machining each of an annular planar surface and a linear planar surface of a workpiece using a combination flange facer and milling machine. Methods comprise using a machine frame of a flange facer and a rotating ring of the flange facer to mount a milling machine to a workpiece, and machining the workpiece using the milling machine when it is coupled to the rotating ring of the flange facer. Portable machining kits comprise a flange facer and a milling machine that is configured to be operatively mounted to the rotating ring of the flange facer. Portable machine tools comprise a machine frame, a rotating ring, a bridge coupled to the rotating ring, a facing tool head assembly configured to be selectively coupled to and decoupled from the bridge, and a milling tool head assembly configured to be selectively coupled to and decoupled from the bridge.
MILLING CUTTER
A milling cutter includes a milling drum having a body with a first end, a second end, an outer surface extending around a circumference of the body between the first and second ends, and a plurality of slots formed in the outer surface. The plurality of slots arranged in a staggered row between the first end and the second end of the body. The milling cutter also includes a plurality of cutting insert removably secured to the body. Each cutting insert is positioned at least partially within one of the plurality of slots and includes a cutting profile defined by rounded peaks and pointed valleys to cut a tooth form into a saw blade. The plurality of cutting inserts are staggered such that the plurality of cutting inserts are circumferentially offset from each other along a longitudinal axis of the milling drum.

FLOORBOARDS WITH DECORATIVE GROOVES
Floorboards which have a core and a surface layer and are provided with decorative joint edges which are formed by removing the surface layer. A method for making a floorboard, or a floor element that is to be divided into at least two floorboards, the method including making a core from a sheet shaped material, from which a part of a locking system for vertical locking of the floorboards is to be formed, impregnating and/or staining the core surface with a substance at least in portions which in the completed floorboard will constitute a joint edge of the completed floorboard, and arranging an surface layer on the core surface.
DEVICE FOR MACHINING INTERNAL CHANNELS AND RESPECTIVE METHOD OF OPERATION
This application describes a device for machining internal channels, couplable to mechanical drilling apparatus, configured to generate rotational and longitudinal movement, such as machine tools for drilling, milling and turning. A method is similarly described for operating the respective device, which allows the action of the cutting tool in accordance with a set of parameters programmed by an operator. Using this device, it is possible to endow the cited apparatus with a capacity to machine internal channels, conferring on them a function that is not common to them.
FORM CUTTING METHOD
A form cutting method includes a first cutting step of moving a semi-finishing tool having a first cutting edge in a tool feeding direction Dt orthogonal to a first axis while rotating the semi-finishing tool in a first direction about the axis to form a blade groove 120 having a contour shape of the semi-finishing tool and being continuous in the tool feeding direction Dt on a workpiece 100, and a second cutting step of moving a final finishing tool 20 having a second cutting edge 24s opposite to the semi-finishing tool in the tool feeding direction Dt while rotating the final finishing tool in a second direction R2 about a second axis O2 to finish groove inner peripheral surfaces 120x and 120y of the blade groove 120.
