APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LAND CLEARING AND PREPARATION
A land preparation tool includes a tool body having a longitudinal axis, wherein the tool body includes a cutting surface and a mounting surface disposed on the tool body opposite the cutting surface, wherein the mounting surface includes an apex that extends along about half of the mounting surface parallel to the longitudinal axis and first and second side mounting surfaces that extend from the apex; a blade disposed on the same side of the tool body as the cutting surface; and a channel disposed into the mounting surface and extending into the tool body.

Cutting tool
A cutting tool includes a portion made of a high hardness material. The portion includes a rake face, a flank face, and a cutting edge. The rake face is divided into a region A along the cutting edge and a region B excluding the region A of the rake face, a surface roughness of the region A is smaller than a surface roughness of the region B, and the region B is deepened with respect to a position of the region A.
DOUBLE-SIDED TANGENTIAL CUTTING INSERT
A double-sided tangential cutting insert, having eight different working positions, includes two opposite end faces serving as leading and trailing faces of the cutting insert, two opposite major side faces, two opposite minor side faces, a through hole extending between the two major side faces, cutting edges distributed along a periphery of each end face, and four abutment surfaces arranged on each end face in a grid-like pattern with two first arrays, each of which have two consecutive abutment surfaces that extend between the two major side faces, and two second arrays, each of which have two consecutive abutment surfaces and extend between the two minor side faces. Each abutment surface are inclined inwards in the cutting insert such that each two consecutive abutment surfaces in each array are inclined towards each other.
Sintered cubic boron nitride compact tool
A tool includes, at least on its edge, a sintered cBN compact which includes cBN particles and a bonding phase, a plurality of flutes is formed on a rake face, each of the flutes having a starting end on the edge ridgeline and causing the edge ridgeline to be wavy, and the terminal end of the flute is disposed inwardly of the edge ridgeline. It is preferable that the flute width of the flute decreases with distance from the edge ridgeline, the flute depth of the flute decreases with distance from the edge ridgeline, and the rake face has a positive rake angle.
Land preparation tool
A land preparation tool includes a cutting surface having a blade and a mounting interface opposite the cutting surface. The mounting interface of the land preparation tool is configured to detachably connect to a tool holder having a top surface, an end surface, a mounting surface opposite the end surface, and opposing first and second side surfaces extending between the end surface and the mounting surface. The mounting surface has an apex extending downwardly from the top surface and first and second mounting faces. The first mounting face extends inwardly from the first side surface toward the apex and the second mounting face extends inwardly from the second side surface toward the apex.
