DISPOSABLE CUTTING INSERT LOCKING STRUCTURE
A disposable cutting insert locking structure includes a shank and a disposable cutting insert. An insert seat is disposed at a front end of the shank. The insert seat has a positioning portion. The positioning portion has a triangular shape. The positioning portion is provided with a screw hole. The disposable cutting insert has a bottom. The bottom is formed with a positioning recess. A through hole is defined in the positioning recess for a screw to be inserted from a top of the disposable cutting insert and screwed to the insert seat.
CUTTING INSERT, CUTTING TOOL, AND METHOD OF PRODUCING MACHINED PRODUCT
A cutting insert has: an upper surface; a lower surface; a side surface, having a first surface and a second surface disposed opposite each other between the upper surface and the lower surface; and a first cutting edge. The lower surface has a plurality of slots extending from a side of the first surface to a side of the second surface. In addition, when viewed from a side of the lower surface, if the angle between a ridge line on which the upper surface and the first surface intersect and an imaginary extension line of the plurality of slots is defined as 1, and the angle between a ridge line on which the lower surface and the first surface intersect and the imaginary extension line is defined as 2, then 2>1.
LAND PREPARATION TOOLS
A land preparation tool includes a tool body having a cutting surface, mounting surfaces disposed on the tool body opposite the cutting surface, and opposing side surfaces each extending between the cutting surface and a different one of the mounting surfaces. One mounting surface angles inwardly from a distal edge of a side surface toward the tool body. Another mounting surface angles inwardly from a distal edge of the other side surface toward the tool body. An opening is disposed on the tool body opposite the cutting surface and between the mounting surfaces. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
CUTTING INSERT AND CUTTING TOOL
A cutting insert 10 comprises a peripheral side surface 16 comprising a plurality of peripheral side surface parts 16A-16H formed so as to be in rotational symmetry with respect to a central axis AX. In the cutting insert 10, a second end surface 14 is provided with a plurality of inclined surface parts 13A-13H formed so as to be in rotational symmetry with respect to the central axis AX and to be recessed from a peripheral edge part 14A.

MACHINE FOR LAND CLEARING AND PREPARATION
A land preparation machine includes a land preparation apparatus connected to a lift assembly of a vehicle. The land preparation apparatus has a rotatable drum and a plurality of tools assemblies disposed thereon. A tool assembly of the plurality of tool assemblies includes a tool holder and a tool attached thereto. The tool includes a tool body having a cutting surface disposed on a side of the tool body, an apex disposed on a different side of the tool body opposite the cutting surface, and tool mounting surfaces disposed on the side of the tool body opposite the cutting surface. One tool mounting surface extends outwardly from the apex at an angle toward the cutting surface. Another tool mounting surface extends outwardly from the apex, opposite the other tool mounting surface, at an angle toward the cutting surface. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
CUTTING INSERT AND CUTTING-EDGE-REPLACEABLE CUTTING TOOL
In this cutting insert, two cutting edges respectively including arc-shaped cutting edge parts extending in an arc shape in a plan view and linear cutting edge parts are provided in an intersection ridge line part between a rake face and a flank face. The cutting edges include a convex curved part moving away from a seating face and then moving close to the seating face as at least the arc-shaped cutting edge part moves away from the linear cutting edge parts. In a side view, the arc-shaped cutting edge parts include curvature change points between most protruding points farthest from the seating face and cutting edge tips of the arc-shaped cutting edge parts.
Land preparation tools
A land preparation tool includes a tool body having a cutting surface, a mounting surface, an opening, and a channel. The cutting surface has a blade positioned at a distal end thereof. The mounting surface has a non-planar profile and is disposed on the tool body opposite the cutting surface. The opening is disposed on the mounting surface and the channel extends from the opening at least partially into the tool body. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

A cutting insert of an embodiment of the present invention includes an upper surface, a lower surface, a side surface connected to each of the upper surface and the lower surface, and an upper cutting edge located at an intersection of the upper surface and the side surface. The lower surface includes a mount part having alternately three first top portions spaced a distance a away from a central axis extending between the upper and lower surfaces and three second top portions spaced a distance b away from the central axis in a bottom view. The mount part further has a concave part including at least the central axis. The second top portions are located closer to the upper surface than the first top portions. A cutting tool with the cutting insert, and a method of manufacturing a machined product by using the cutting tool are also provided.

A cutting tool may include a cutter body, and a cutting insert group coupled to the cutter body, wherein the cutter body includes a working length, wherein the cutting insert group forms a continuous cutting edge, and wherein the continuous cutting edge extends continuously through the working length of the cutter body.
