EXPRESSION OF THE HUMAN LEKTI GENE FROM THE CHROMOSOME OF STAPHYLOCOCCUS EPIDERMIDIS
20240092869 · 2024-03-21 ·

The present disclosure provides, inter alia, engineered microbes expressing one or more therapeutic proteins from a nucleotide sequence chromosomally integrated, which is effective to treat or ameliorate a disease or disorder, e.g., a skin disease. In certain embodiments, composition, methods, and kits are provided comprising microbes expressing one or more therapeutic proteins from a chromosomally integrated nucleotide sequence.

MICROORGANISM OIL COMPOSITION ENRICHED WITH DHA OR EPA DIGLYCERIDES
20240060102 · 2024-02-22 · ·

A microorganism oil composition enriched with eicosapentaenoic acid or with docosahexaenoic acid mainly in the form of diglycerides, and method for obtaining same. A microorganism oil composition includes an eicosapentaenoic acid and/or docosahexaenoic acid content greater than or equal to 500 mg/g of composition, and, with respect to the total quantity of glycerides, a quantity of diglycerides greater than 45% and a quantity of monoglycerides and diglycerides greater than 60%.

Transfected T-cells and T-cell receptors for use in immunotherapy against cancers

Disclosed are T-cell receptors (TCRs) binding to tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) for targeting cancer cells, T-cells expressing same, methods for producing same, and methods for treating cancers using same. Disclosed are TCRs and their variants that bind to HLA class I or II molecules with a peptide, such as MAG-003 have the amino acid sequence of KVLEHVVRV (SEQ ID NO:1). The description further relates to peptides, proteins, nucleic acids, cells for use in immunotherapeutic methods, the immunotherapy of cancer, and tumor-associated T-cell peptide epitopes, alone or in combination with other tumor-associated peptides that can for example serve as active pharmaceutical ingredients of vaccine compositions that stimulate anti-tumor immune responses, or to stimulate T-cells ex vivo and transfer into patients. Peptides bound to molecules of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC), or peptides as such, can also be targets of antibodies, soluble T-cell receptors, and other binding molecules.

Bioactive animal feed

The invention relates to a food supplement comprising or consisting of Archaebacteria, and particularly methanogenic Archaebacteria, to be used as a probiotic adjunct for animal feed. The supplement can be provided to e.g. farmed animals in addition to standard feed or as a food composition. Such a supplement is particularly useful in aquaculture and proves able in increasing animal growth rates, reducing animal susceptibility to parasitic infections and/or ameliorating animal faecal waste impact on environment. Also encompassed by the present invention are methods of manufacturing a composition comprising the bioactive food supplement as well as uses thereof.
