Portable in-line cutting tool with stabilizer
An in-line portable, hand held hydraulic cutting tool having a handle assembly and a working head assembly is provided. The handle assembly has a tool frame portion and a neck portion. The working head assembly has a pair of jaw members joined so that they are movable relative to each other and held in place by a locking pin. Each jaw member has a cutting blade secured to or directly formed into the jaw member. A stabilizer can be secured to or directly formed into one or both jaw members. The one or more stabilizers are aligned with a respective cutting blade such that during a cutting operation at least an edge of the stabilizer engages an object being cut to limit rotation of the object during the cutting operation.

A method and apparatus for efficiently dismantling hard disk drives, including a holder assembly to clamp a hard disk drive, a scanner that reads identification information of the hard disk drive. A chain conveyor belt indexes the hard disk drive to a position at which a logic board of the hard disk drive is peeled off and dropped into a bin, and to a position at which a lid of the hard disk drive is separated from a housing by way of a wedge, and indexes to a punch position at which magnets are punched in a direction from the logic board side of the hard disk drive. By separating and disposing the logic board and the lid, each hard disk drive is efficiently and securely dismantled.

An apparatus for generating impulse-dynamic process forces includes a pressure chamber, a connecting chamber and a bolt chamber. The pressure chamber includes a plunger arranged to be pushed into the pressure chamber for compression of a hydraulic medium located therein. In the connecting chamber there is displaceably arranged a stepped piston which has a valve body for closing an orifice connecting the pressure chamber to the connecting chamber. In the bolt chamber there is located a displaceable impact bolt which has a first bolt portion and a second bolt portion. The first bolt portion seals an interior space of the bolt chamber that surrounds the second bolt portion. Connected to the bolt chamber there is at least one pressure reservoir containing pressurised pressure medium, which pressure reservoir is in communicating connection via a connection port with the interior space of the bolt chamber.

An apparatus for generating impulse-dynamic process forces includes a pressure chamber, a connecting chamber and a bolt chamber. A hydrodynamic compression tool comprises an electrical motor, which can be powered by a control circuit, a hydraulic pump which can be actuated by the motor so as to increase the pressure of a hydraulic liquid acting on an actuating piston, two jaws, which can be mutually moved by the actuating piston between an open position and a closed position for carrying out the compression or the cut, an actuating button, which acts on a switch of the control circuit to actuate the motor, a return device which returns the jaws to the open position by a return of the hydraulic fluid from the actuating piston towards the hydraulic pump through a return valve, and a mechanism for delaying the opening of the return valve via the return device, so as to allow verification of the position of the jaws before the return of the jaws to the open position.
