TOOL ATTACHMENT FOR CUTTING HEAVY DUTY SUBSTRATE
A cutting tool attachment for a power tool is freely rotatable about an end of the power tool. A fence provides a complementary flat surface area for the cutting tool attachment to rest against a surface of the material to be cut. The fence prevents free rotation of the cutting tool attachment while in use. A handle allows a user to guide the attachment along the surface of the material, while also providing leverage to keep the attachment against the material surface close to the attachment, but at a safe position to reduce the chance of injury. A user can rotate the power tool relative to the cutting attachment to achieve a comfortable position or to help turn the attachment and power tool. The power tool is therefore positionable along a 360 arc of movement relative to the attachment while the attachment is positioned along the surface of a material.
CUTTING DEVICE
A cutting device includes: a first cutting blade in which a first opening and a second opening are formed; a first link in which an opening is formed; a frame in which an opening is formed; at least one of a first shaft member pivotably connecting the first cutting blade to the first link by being inserted through the first opening and the opening of the first link, and a second shaft member pivotably connecting the first cutting blade to the frame by being inserted through the second opening and the opening of the frame; and at least one of a first movement restriction member configured to restrict the first shaft member from moving in a direction of detaching from the first opening, and a second movement restriction member configured to restrict the second shaft member from moving in a direction of detaching from the second opening.
DIES FOR THREADED ROD CUTTING MACHINE
First and second dies can be coupled to a pair of arms on a threaded rod cutting machine. The first die has a body with a front face, a rear face, a side face extending between the front face and the rear face, and a first threaded recess in the first side face and configured to receive a threaded rod to be cut. Crests and troughs of the first thread are aligned with troughs and crests of the threaded rod when the first die engages the rod. The second die has a body with a front face, a side face extending between the front face and the rear face, and a second threaded recess in the side face and configured to receive the threaded rod. Crests and troughs of the second thread are axially offset from troughs and crests of the threaded rod when the second die engages the rod.
Tree saw
A blade has a flat body with a first side, a second side, an aperture extending between the first side and the second side, and an outer peripheral edge. The aperture has a central axis defining an axis of rotation. A plurality of teeth is formed along a portion of the outer peripheral edge forming a cutting edge. Each of the teeth has a tip that is a radial outermost part of the flat body in a plane defined by the tip and the central axis of the aperture. The cutting edge has a first end and a second end. The distance between each tip of the teeth increases from the first end of the cutting edge to the second end thereof. The distance between each tip and the central axis increases from the first end of the cutting edge to the second end thereof.
Cutting device
An electric cutting device includes: a pair of cutting blades clamping and cutting an object; an electric motor generating a driving force for operating the cutting blades; a controller controlling the electric motor; and an operation device switched between an ON state and an OFF state by a user operation. After the operation device enters into the ON state and the pair of cutting blades start operating in a closing direction, the controller is configured to: open the pair of cutting blades when the cutting of the object is completed while the operation device is kept in the ON state; and stop closing the pair of cutting blades when the operation device changes from the ON state to the OFF state at a timing before the cutting of the object is completed.
