Self-Aligning Quick Change Jaw Set
A multiple tool attachment system is adapted to be attached to demolition equipment. The system includes a universal body attached to the demolition equipment. A series of tools are independently attachable to the universal body. Each tool generally includes a bridge housing with a pair of jaws that are pivotable relative to one another and adapted to be attached to the receiving member of a universal body. The multiple tool attachment system is provided with quick change features designed to optimize strength and ease of removing and installing the bridge housing.

Hydraulic tool having ram piston with integrated overload assembly
Embodiments of the invention provide a ram assembly for a hydraulic tool. The ram assembly includes a ram piston having a ram cavity. The ram piston receives a hydraulic pressure reaction force. The ram assembly further includes an overload assembly disposed in the ram cavity or in a cavity defined by a manifold. The overload assembly includes a burst disc positioned at a first end of the ram cavity or manifold, a lock nut positioned at a second end of the ram cavity or manifold, and a spacer positioned between the burst disc and the lock nut. The spacer transfers a supporting force applied to the lock nut to the burst disc. The hydraulic pressure reaction force and the supporting force both act in the same direction, and thus, are additive forces acting on the burst disk.
Hydraulic power tool
A hydraulic power tool includes a housing defining a cylinder, a piston at least partially positioned within the cylinder and movable between a retracted position and an extended position, a clevis supporting a head of the power tool, a nut coupled to an outer peripheral surface of the clevis, and a collar coupled to the housing and surrounding the nut to axially constrain the nut between the collar and the housing while permitting relative rotation between the collar and the nut.
HYDRAULIC TOOL HAVING RAM PISTON WITH INTEGRATED OVERLOAD ASSEMBLY
A hydraulic tool includes a cylinder. A piston is movably disposed within the cylinder to define a first chamber on a first side of a piston head and a second chamber on a second side of the piston head. The piston head defines a cavity that is in communication with a leak path extending from the cavity. A relief valve positioned in the cavity and a retainer is coupled to the piston head to secure the relief valve within the cavity. The relief valve opens at a threshold pressure to allow fluid to flow along the leak path between the first chamber and the second chamber.
HYDRAULIC POWER TOOL
A blade removably secured to a jaw for a power tool includes a base at a first end, a tip at a second end opposite the first end, a cutting edge extending between the tip and base, and an alignment projection extending from the base away from the cutting edge. The alignment projection facilitates proper positioning and secure attachment of the blade to the jaw.
