Decking tool
The present invention relates to a tool for forming a joint in an interlocking side-lapped seam formed between first and second structural decking panels. The decking tool may include a frame, actuator, and arms with jaws, wherein the actuator forms a structural component of the decking tool and is located between the frame and the arms with the jaws. Moreover, the decking tool may further comprise one or more shields and jaw guards. The one or more shields may cover the arms on at least one side for protection. The one or more jaw guards may be utilized with or without the shields, and may or may not be integral with the shields. The one or more jaw guards have a number of benefits, such as protecting the jaws, positioning the jaws, being utilized as levers to help remove the jaws, and being utilized to prevent separation of the side-lap seam.
SHEET CUTTING AND BENDING APPARATUS
A sheet cutting and bending apparatus for cutting a wavy sheet and forming trapezoidal notches required for installation includes a base, two cutters at an end of the base, and a force applying mechanism for driving the two cutters. A knife of the cutters has no handle but just has a curved force receiving edge at the rear edge. The force applying mechanism has two rocker aims driven by a rocker rod and a force applying rod bridging between the two rocker arms for abutting a force receiving edge of the knife to produce a shear force and pushing the knife efficiently to cut two incisions at an edge of the sheet. In addition, a bending mechanism is linked with the force applying mechanism and provided for flipping a plate between the two incisions inwardly to form trapezoidal notches required for installation at the edge of the sheet.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CHAIN DISPENSING AND CUTTING
A present application relates to a chain management system that includes a chain dispensing unit and/or a chain cutting device or table configured to conveniently store reels of roller chain and/or separate the reels into customized strand lengths while significantly reducing the amount of handling and manual disassembly tooling required. The chain dispensing unit includes a rotatable station carousel capable of holding a plurality of reels, which allows reels of neatly stored roller chain to be stored, moved and/or dispensed using a single control point. Reels of the chain dispensing unit can be cycled to a position from which the user can dispense the roller chain to the chain cutting table where the roller chain can be disassembled into customized strand lengths, and then the unused remainder of the roller chain can be returned to the reel.
TOOLD FOR CUTTING PANELS, IN PARTICULAR MADE OF RECONSTITUTED MATERIAL
A tool for cutting a panel made of reconstituted material comprises a fixed support on which a blade is mounted so as to be able to pivot by means of a pivot. A slot is provided which is designed to receive at least part of the blade during cutting. A movable support is mounted so as to be able to move about the rotation pin (21), between an engagement position in which the movable support is arranged along the longitudinal edges of the slot of the fixed support, and a retracted position in which the movable support is arranged spaced apart from the longitudinal edges of the slot of the fixed support. The movable support comprises a slot of width smaller than the width of the slot of the fixed support and greater than the width (Lt) of the blade.
