Tube cutter with preloads in multiple directions
A tube cutter comprises a main body, a cutting member, a first elastic member and a second elastic member. The main body has a cutting space and a rail. The cutting member is engaging the rail for movement and has at least a portion protruding into the cutting space; wherein the cutting member has a first preload portion and a second preload portion. The first elastic member, which is received in the main body and engaged with the first preload portion, provides a first elastic force on the first preload portion which is parallel to a first normal direction thereby. The second elastic member, received in the main body and rested against the second preload portion, provides a second elastic force on the second preload portion which is parallel to a second normal direction thereby.

Tube cutter for tubes with various diameters
A tube cutter comprises a main body, a cutting member, a base and a restricting member. The main body has a cutting space and a groove. The groove includes a top opening and two side openings. The cutting member is received in the main body, having a least a portion protruding into the cutting space. The base is detachably received in the groove of the main body and switched between a first angle and a second angle. The restricting member is movably received in the main body and adjacent to one of the side openings to be turned between a first position and a second position. At least a portion of the restricting member blocks the side opening when the restricting member is turned to the first position; the restricting member leaves the side opening when the restricting member is turned to the second position.

Service tool for cutting and plugging a utility service line
A service tool for cutting and plugging a utility service line has a body with a receiving portion configured to receive the utility service line and a clamping mechanism movable relative to the body and configured to clamp around at least a portion of an outer circumference of the utility service line. The service tool further includes a cutting blade disposed in the receiving portion and configured to engage the outer circumference of the utility service line and cut the utility service line into a first cut portion and a second cut portion as the cutting blade is rotated about a cutting axis relative to the body. The service tool further has a hub associated with the body. The hub includes a plugging mechanism configured to displace the first cut portion of the utility service line and dispense a plug into the second cut portion of the utility service line.

Power tool and power tool accessories for cutting tubular members
A power tool accessory for cutting tubular members includes a housing, an input shaft configured to be coupled to a rotary power tool, a transmission, and a cutting head removably received in a front end of the housing. The transmission includes an input gear and an output gear with a first plurality of teeth. The cutting head has a central opening, a cutting blade protruding into the central opening, and a second plurality of teeth engaged by the first plurality of teeth. A clamp assembly coupled to the housing is moveable between a first position where the cutting head is removable from the housing and a second position where the cutting head is retained in the housing. The cutting head receives a tubular member in the central opening with the cutting blade engaging the tubular member to cut the tubular member as the cutting head rotates about the tubular member.
