Cutting tool

A cutting tool according to some embodiments of the disclosure includes a stationary handle and a movable handle pivotally attached thereto, a blade receiving gear mounted on the stationary handle, a blade removably mounted to the blade receiving gear, and a spring-loaded slide plate mounted to the blade receiving gear for holding the blade in the blade receiving gear. The blade seats within a notch of the blade receiving gear and the slide plate engages with a notch in the blade. The slide plate can be removed without the use of tools from engagement with the blade to allow user to easily remove the blade from the cutting tool.

The fastener has a gap to guide a saw blade to produce a straight-line cut of the secured object. In some instances, the fastener may retain both pieces of a cut workpiece in place after the workpiece is cut. In some instances, the fastener may prevent the saw blade from cutting beyond the fastener.

A pipe shears includes a base, a ratchet plate pivotally connected to the base, a cutter blade detachably mounted to the ratchet plate, a positioning member mounted between an elongated hole of the ratchet plate and a positioning groove of the cutter blade, and a push rod inserted in the base and stopped against a stop member. When the push rod is not pushed, it is positioned in the elongated hole of the ratchet plate and stopped against the positioning member to force the positioning member into engagement with the positioning groove of the cutter blade, and the cutter blade is not detachable at this time. When the push rod is pushed, the stop member is moved out of the elongated hole of the ratchet plate to unlock the positioning member from the positioning groove of the cutter blade for allowing removal of the cutter blade.

The holder is movably connected with the first clamp handle to form a first state or a second state with respect to the first clamp handle. The first recess is located at the opening when in the first state and the second recess is located at the opening when in the second state.

The second clamp handle is pivotally connected with the first clamp handle. The blade is connected with the second clamp handle. The holder is movably connected with the first clamp handle to form a first state or a second state with respect to the first clamp handle. The first recess is located at the opening when in the first state and the second recess is located at the opening when in the second state.
