METHOD OF PROCESSING WORKPIECE
A method of processing a plate-shaped workpiece that includes layered bodies containing metal which are formed in superposed relation to projected dicing lines, includes the steps of holding the workpiece on a holding table, and, thereafter, cutting the workpiece along the projected dicing lines with an annular cutting blade, thereby separating the layered bodies. The cutting blade has a plurality of through holes defined in an outer peripheral portion thereof that cuts into the workpiece and extending through the cutting blade from a face side to a reverse side thereof, but not open at an outer peripheral edge thereof. The step of cutting the workpiece includes the step of cutting the workpiece while supplying a cutting fluid containing an organic acid and an oxidizing agent to the workpiece.
Circular Saw with a Double-Belt Gear Reduction Mechanism
A circular saw includes a machine housing disposed on a base to cooperatively define a working space therebetween, and a saw blade driven by a driving motor so as to rotate through a drive transmitting device accommodated in the machine housing. The device includes a first input shaft driven by the motor and having a first leading wheel mounted thereon, a middle shaft having a first trailing wheel and a second leading wheel mounted thereon to be rotated with the first input shaft through a first transmitting belt, a second input shaft having a second trailing wheel mounted thereon to be rotated with the middle shaft through a second transmitting belt, and a gear reduction device disposed to couple the second input shaft to the saw blade.
APPARTUS FOR SUPPORTING SAW ASSEMBLIES
An apparatus for supporting a saw assembly for cutting a workpiece, comprising: a main frame supporting a translatable frame translatable longitudinally for releasably supporting the saw assembly such that at least a portion of a saw extends below the translatable frame into an interior space; a first support positioned for supporting at least a portion of a first edge of the workpiece; and a second support generally parallel to the first support for supporting at least a portion of a second edge of the workpiece and moveable laterally between (i) a retracted position and (ii) a plurality of extended positions, each extended position between the retracted position and the first support. The saw when activated and translated longitudinally over the interior space cuts the workpiece while the at least the portions of the first and second edges of the workpiece are at rest upon the first and second supports.
Power tool assembly with integrated tool support fixture
A tool assembly is provided with an integrated support fixture and assemblies for orienting the tool at different angles relative to a workpiece. A guide rail assembly is provided that defines a travel path for the tool slidably supported thereon. The support fixture is configured to support the tool assembly on a workpiece so that gravity can assist movement of the tool across the workpiece. The guide rail assembly is mounted on a miter plate that can be oriented at different miter angles relative to the support fixture. The tool may be supported on the guide rail assembly to permit pivoting of the tool perpendicular to the miter angle. Another assembly may be provided that permits pivoting of the guided rail assembly at an orthogonal angle.
CUTTING APPARATUS AND CUTTING METHOD
A cutting apparatus includes: a supply part for supplying an object to be cut; a first cutting part for cutting the object to be cut, provided from the supply part; a carrying part arranged to be consecutive to the first cutting part to carry an intermediate cut object, cut by the first cutting part; and a second cutting part arranged to be consecutive to the carrying part to receive and cut the intermediate cut object from the carrying part, wherein the first and second cutting parts comprise saw blade parts movably and rotatably configured to cut the object to be cut or the intermediate cut object, and the saw blade part has a rotary shaft formed on the upper side of the object to be cut or the intermediate cut object.
Magnetically Attachable and Extendable Saw and Methods for Using the Same
An extendable saw can include a blade housing coupled to a main body by at least one extendable member, the blade housing at least partially covers a saw blade and the extendable member can be configured to move the blade housing and the saw blade between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the main body. The extendable saw can also include a motorized unit coupled to the saw blade and configured to rotate or provide other blade movement to the saw blade and a switchable device or unit disposed on the main body and having at least one contact surface that is switchable between a magnetized or vacuum state and a non-magnetized state or non-vacuum state, respectively.
Saw guides for gang saws
A saw guide for attachment to a guide post of a saw guide arbor guide assembly includes a head and a body. The head is attached to the guide post. The head includes opposed first and second head surfaces, a collar wall, and a head sidewall. The collar wall extends between the first and second head surfaces, with the collar wall engaging with the guide post. The head sidewall extends between the first and second head surfaces and defines an outer perimeter of the head. The body is attached to the head and includes opposed first and second body surfaces and a body sidewall. The body sidewall extends between the first and second body surfaces and defines an outer perimeter of the body. The saw guide further includes a lattice structure extending within at least the body, with the lattice structure extending between the first and second body surfaces.
Method and system of rivering filtration for power saw machine
A rivering filtration system for a power saw machine includes a filtration tray having a filtration cavity for collecting operation fluid after the operation fluid is delivered onto the cutting blade, and a fluid collecting tray located underneath the filtration tray, wherein the fluid collecting tray has first and second cavities. The filtration tray provides a first filtration stage for filtrating the visible residual particles out from the operation fluid. The fluid collecting tray provides a second filtration stage that the operation fluid is slowly filled in the first cavity from the filtration cavity to ensure slurry residual particles in the operation fluid being deposited at the first cavity, and a third filtration stage that the operation fluid is slowly filled in the second cavity from the first cavity to ensure the slurry residual particles being filtrated out of the operation fluid.
