09999951 · 2018-06-19 · ·

Coupling members and pipe machining apparatuses including coupling members are provided. In one aspect, a coupling member includes a shaft and an engagement member defining a cavity there through and including a projection. The shaft is at least partially positioned within the cavity and extends through the cavity, and the shaft is adapted to rotate relative to the engagement member. The coupling member also includes a plunger at least partially positioned within the cavity and moveable relative to the engagement member, and further includes a biasing member at least partially positioned within the cavity between the plunger and the engagement member.

Pile Cutting Device
20180155894 · 2018-06-07 ·

A pile cutting device is used with a work vehicle including a tool supporting arm assembly for cutting a pile. The device has a main frame carried on the arm assembly of the work vehicle. A first clamp on the frame is clamped about the pile for fixing the frame relative to the pile. A cutting assembly on the main frame includes a saw blade supported on a cutter linkage to move the blade about the pile and cut a pile section from the pile when the remaining lower portion of the pile remains secured within the lower clamp. A second clamp on the frame is clamped about the cut pile section of the pile before cutting. The first clamp is released after cutting so that the cut pile section within the second clamp can be moved away from the remaining lower portion of the pile together with work vehicle subsequent to cutting.

Treatment apparatus and method for waste steam generator, and installation method of treatment apparatus for waste steam generator

Disclosed herein are a treatment apparatus and method for a waste steam generator, and an installation method of a treatment apparatus for a waste steam generator. The treatment apparatus includes a cutting part for cutting a body of a waste steam generator, a driving part for driving the cutting part, and a support frame for supporting the cutting part and the driving part, wherein the support frame is coupled to an outer peripheral surface of the body of the waste steam generator in a divided state, and the cutting part is driven and cuts the body in a state in which the support frame is coupled to the outer peripheral surface of the body. Consequently, since the treatment apparatus is easily moved and installed, an installation time of the treatment apparatus may be shortened and an exposure time of a worker can be reduced.

Apparatus for machining, particularly for cutting a tubular or round section body
09868164 · 2018-01-16 · ·

An apparatus (100) for machining a tubular or round-bar type piece, wherein the apparatus comprises a frame element (102), a machining unit (104), as well as a threaded shaft (110), which is fitted to the frame element in a rotatable and axially immobile fashion and has a first section 110a) provided with a right-handed thread and a second section (110b) with a left-handed thread. The first section is provided with at least one first support element (106a) and the second section is provided with at least one second support element (106b), the mutual distance between the support elements being adjustable in response to rotating the threaded shaft, such that the support elements, for example wheels, are adapted to touch a workpiece and to support and guide the apparatus (100) in the process of machining the piece. At least one of the support elements, such as wheels (106a, 106b), is adapted to be capable of rotating relative to its axis in response to moving the apparatus along the surface of a workpiece.

Cutting Tool for a Large Diameter Travelling Pipe Cutter

A cutting tool to cut a hollow vessel includes a conical member, a plurality of grooves, and a plurality of cutting members. The plurality of grooves are disposed in a semi-helix around an outer conical surface of the conical member. Each of the plurality of cutting members is disposed in fixed position within one of the plurality of grooves at a non-zero angle relative to a vertical axis.

LARGE DIAMETER TRAVELLING PIPE CUTTER

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a low profile travelling pipe cutter is provided which is adapted to perform at least one of cutting and beveling a hollow vessel while traveling around the vessel using a cutting tool mounted thereon. The pipe cutter includes inner and outer carriages, a capstan assembly attached to the outer carriage to which a feed cable is attached, and rollers attached to the outer carriage to which a tension cable is attached. The force adjustment assembly changes the vertical position of the outer carriage relative to the inner carriage to compensate for the pipe cutter going inwardly and outwardly as it travels around a hollow vessel in order to maintain constant pressure caused by the lever tension interface. A guard assembly is provided for covering and uncovering the cutting tool during cutting.
