Miter saw and workpiece support therefor
A miter saw and a workpiece support are provided. The workpiece support has a circular disc-shaped turntable penetrated by a saw blade slot serving as a passage for the saw blade lowered into the working position, a holder on one side for fastening the saw unit, and a radial arm which extends the turntable and the saw blade slot in the longitudinal direction of the slot radially outwards on a side opposite the holder. A radial arm connection is provided, on which the radial arm is detachably and co-rotatably attached to the turntable, or on which a radially outer radial arm outer portion of the radial arm is detachably and co-rotatably attached to a radially inner radial arm inner portion of the radial arm formed integrally with the turntable. The miter saw has blade that can be moved transversely and lowered from a position above the workpiece support.
Saw stand
A saw stand includes a table having a saw support surface, a plurality of legs pivotally coupled to the table, the legs movable relative to the table to define a first configuration, a second configuration, and a third configuration of the saw stand, and a latch mechanism. The latch mechanism includes a latch element movable between a latched position and an unlatched position. The latch mechanism is configured to inhibit movement of each of the legs relative to the table when the latch element is in the latched position and the saw stand is in the third configuration.
FOLDABLE TABLE SAW EXTENSION ASSEMBLY
A table saw apparatus is disclosed that includes a main table saw base. A motorized rotatable blade can be disposed on the main table saw base. The table saw apparatus can include a table saw extension assembly. The table saw extension assembly can include at least one extension member, such as an extension rail, pivotally connected to the main table saw base, the at least one extension rail movable to an extended position such that the at least one extension rail extends laterally from the main table saw base, and at least one support leg pivotally connected to the at least one extension rail. The extension assembly disclosed can be retrofitted to existing table saws to provide a foldable laterally extending support assembly for the table saw.
Collapsible infeed/outfeed apparatus with shelf
A truss designed folding Apparatus. The apparatus may be constructed of a first apparatus top section and a second apparatus top section which may be pivotally connected together by a center support structure. The apparatus may have two sets of legs. A first set of legs may be movably attached to the center support structure and a second set of legs may also be movably attached to the center support structure. Each set of legs may also be attached to the apparatus top via a first and a second leg support extending from the legs to the apparatus top sections. A shelf connection may be placed between the first and second leg support wherein, a shelf attached to each pair of legs the shelf may have a first section and second section, wherein the sections are attached to each other at opposite ends of the shelf connection.
Saw assembly
A saw assembly for cutting a workpiece is disclosed. The saw assembly includes a platform for supporting the saw assembly on a surface. The saw assembly further includes a table assembly having a saw for cutting the workpiece and a table surface for supporting the workpiece during cutting. The table assembly is pivotably coupled to the platform and is adapted to pivot relative to the platform to position the table surface at an inclination relative to the surface.
AUTOMATED JIGSAW
A system for making curved cuts of a work piece, the system including a template including a profiled groove spanning from a first end to a second end, the groove dividing the template into distal and proximal halves, at least one profile of a curved cut is part of the groove; a saw including a saw blade; a turntable including a platform and a base upon which the platform is rotatably supported; and a mobility means to which the platform is attached, the mobility means is configured to allow the turntable to traverse between the two ends and a direction transverse to a direction defined by the two ends, wherein the work piece is disposed under the groove of the template and the saw blade is configured to be guided through the groove to cut the work piece according to the at least one profile of a curved cut.

An adaptive cutting system is presented that facilitates cutting workpieces in new and different ways in a fun, easy, fast, accurate and safe manner. The system includes a benchtop having a grid of bench dog holes across its surface as well as a pair of table tracks embedded within its surface. An edge track extends around the benchtop and a pair of hinge members are connected to the edge tracks that also connect to a saw track that is movable between a raised and lowered position. The system also includes narrow rip stops, wide rip stops, bench dogs and a miter gauge all of which work in concert with the on-table features to facilitate on-table measurement and alignment of workpieces for performing cutting operations.
Cutting Machine With Environment Control Arrangement
A power saw machine for cutting a work piece includes a supporting frame, a cutting blade, and an environment control arrangement which includes a cutting table base, a sliding vacuum hood, and an outlet. The cutting table base is slidably supported by the supporting frame for supporting the work piece. The sliding vacuum hood has a narrow collecting chamber with a continuous inlet for directly contacting with the work piece to omit a spatial gap between the narrow collecting chamber and the work piece, wherein during the cutting process, a cutting portion of the cutting blade is entered into the narrow collecting chamber through the continuous inlet for cutting the work piece. The outlet is provided at the sliding vacuum hood for sucking residual debris of the work piece within the narrow collecting chamber during the cutting process.
TABLE SAW
A post 22D may be disposed between holders 22H. Post 22D preferably does not extend from panel 22 as much as holders 22H. Post 22D may have a protrusion 22DD. Pushstick 70 may also have a detent or protrusion 70D extending therefrom. Preferably protrusion 70D moves past protrusion 22DD as pushstick 70 is moved along posts 22HP. Protrusions 70D and 22DD may contact, preventing pushstick 70 from moving along panel 22.
Persons skilled in the art will recognize that protrusions 70D and/or 22DD may engage notches in panel 22 and/or pushstick 70, respectively. Persons skilled in the art will recognize that the interaction of protrusions 70D and/or 22DD can be used instead or in conjunction with the friction-based retaining arrangement, i.e., where friction is created between narrow area 71N and post 22HH, discussed above.
Holders 22H and/or post 22D are preferably integrally molded with panel 22. Accordingly, pushstick 70 may be held unto the panel 22 without requiring any additional parts.
Persons skilled in the art may recognize other additions or alternatives to the means disclosed herein. However, all these additions and/or alterations are considered to be equivalents of the present invention.
