DAMP SAND HOPPER SYSTEM
A towable or self-propelled device and method for treating and maintaining turf are disclosed. These include at least one roller and manifold assembly, said at least one roller and manifold assembly including a plurality of injection heads for directing periodic high pressure jets of liquid and at least one additive material into the ground, said jets of liquid having a discrete pulse duration, wherein the depth of penetration of the jets into the soil is a function of the pulse duration, wherein said plurality of injection head creates a discharge pattern greater than 30 inches in width and at least 1 inch in depth; a liquid supply system for supplying pressurized liquid to said at least one injection head; an additive supply system for introducing said at least one additive material to said liquid within said at least one injection head, the additive supply system including a hopper that receives the additive material after passing through a plurality of sifters; and a control system for controlling discharge from said at least one injection head.
Methods and apparatus for aerating turf
Optional attachments, such as a drop seeder and a sprayer unit, can be removably attached to the front plate of a turf aerator. The attachment includes a hitch slideably received in a tubular receiver and pinned therein by a pin. A lock is pivotal relative to the attachment from an unlocked position to a locked position with the front plate received in slots of the lock. The lock is pivoted relative to the attachment by a rod which is threadably received in the hitch. Valve openings in a valve plate are aligned or mis-aligned with lower openings formed in a hopper mounted to the hitch by a linear electric actuator. A lever is pivotably mounted to a housing which is removably attached to the chassis of the turf aerator and activates the linear electric actuator and a switch controlling an agitator. A valve is alternately in fluid communication with a spray nozzle mounted relative to the hitch and a spray wand. A switch mounted to the chassis is electrically connected to a motor driving a pump in fluid communication with a tank and the valve.

Backpack tool system and backpack power supply apparatus thereof
A backpack tool system and a backpack power supply apparatus for use with an electric tool. The backpack power supply apparatus includes a battery pack for providing electric energy, a body for carrying the battery pack, and a wearable device connected to the body and wearable by a user to carry the body. The battery pack is detachably connected to the body. The body defines a plane and a height extending in a heightwise direction. The body is at least partially symmetrical about the plane. The wearable device includes a strap, which includes an upper end connected to an upper portion of the body. The upper end of the strap applies a force to the body when the user wears the wearable device. An included angle between a projection of a direction of the force on the plane and the heightwise direction is greater than or equal to 30 degrees and less than or equal to 50 degrees.
Lawn monitoring and maintenance via a robotic vehicle
Some example embodiments may provide a capability for intelligent control or management of a number of assets in connection with yard maintenance with the assistance or inclusion of a management unit having distributed properties. Thus, for example, sensor equipment and task performance equipment operation may be coordinated between local management and remote management entities for efficient monitoring and maintaining of lawn wellness.
