Salvage sawing system and method
The present invention relates to a wire cutting system and method for subsea cutting of large structures (6). The system includes two feeding towers (2) with feeding tower first ends secured into a seabed floor. A crossbeam (1) is located between the two feeding towers (2). Wire feeding trolleys (8) are connected to the feeding towers (2), whereby the wire feeding trolleys (8) are allowed to move a cutting distance along the feeding towers. A cutting wire (4) traverses between the wire feeding trolleys.
Method of cutting target members using a cutting saw device
A diamond wire saw and method provides a frame that includes a clamp that attaches to a target (e.g. piling, beam, tubular), an elongated toothed rack extending away from the mount and target, and a moving portion that carries the diamond wire and motor drives that advance the moving portion toward the target and along the toothed rack while driving the wire around roller guides.
WIRE SAW FOR CUTTING PIPE
A wire saw for cutting pipe is provided including a saddle forming a saddle surface for abutting against a cylindrical pipe, an elongate guide fixed to the saddle, a bow having a first and second end, a bridge portion joining the first and second ends, and an open end having a length L from the first end to the second end which is greater than a diameter D of the pipe, a wire loop movable along a track formed within the bow, and a cooling system for actively cooling the wire loop. The elongate guide has an axis approximately perpendicular to an axis of the pipe when the pipe is abutting against the saddle. An exposed portion of the wire loop extends across the open end. The bow is moveable on the elongate guide toward and away from the pipe when the pipe is abutting against the saddle.

Modular cutting system, method and apparatus
A system, a method and a modular apparatus may use a wire loop to cut an object. The apparatus may have a wire loop connected to pulleys on a deck attached to a frame. The deck may move relative to the frame to direct the wire loop through the object. The apparatus may have arms that may hold the object being cut. The apparatus may be configured with different cutting decks to reduce the overall size of the apparatus and/or to facilitate cutting a particular object in a particular environment.

Method for cutting a shell-type object, a cutter system and a vessel equipped with the cutter system
An object of the invention is achieved by a method for cutting an elongated shell-type object. The method may include steps of providing a gantry defining a portal and comprising a wire grid operable in the portal; operating the wire grid, whilst moving the shell-type object through the wire grid along a lateral-axis (Z) substantially perpendicular to the portal. The method is performed by a stationary gantry, where the shell-type object is moved through the portal. Thereby, the method is simplified as there is no need for a rail system for moving the gantry.
Spin-saw machine
An overhead sawing device comprising a central frame, a cutting cable, a driving unit, a first and a second arms configured to deflect the cutting cable to a lower level, at least two rotatable arms configured to receive the cutting cable from the higher level and to guide said cable during a cut. The device further includes a telescopic cable tensioning element. A method of operating the device is also provided, which method permits the execution of a continuous cut without repositioning the device, even in confined spaces.
