Chainsaw
A chainsaw may include a saw chain; a guide bar, a sprocket, a prime mover, a housing, a sprocket cover, and a guide member. The guide bar, the housing and the sprocket cover may define a chain passage. The guide member may include a first facing surface having an arc shape centered on the rotation axis and a second facing surface having an arc shape centered on a position offset from the rotation axis. When the chainsaw is placed on a horizontal mounting surface and viewed in the direction along the rotation axis, an angle between (i) a straight line connecting the rotation axis and a position where the first facing surface and the second facing surface are connected and (ii) a horizontal plane may be in a range of 10 degrees to 25 degrees.
Battery lock mechanism for a battery compartment and an electrically powered hand-held work tool comprising such a battery lock mechanism
A battery compartment battery lock mechanism (700) comprising a locking member (710) rotatably supported on a shaft (720) and comprising a leading edge portion (750) arranged to enter a recess (760) formed in a battery (220) to lock the battery in position, The leading edge portion (750) has an arcuate form with a curvature corresponding to that of a circle segment with radius corresponding to the distance from the leading edge portion (750) to the center of the shaft (720) The recess (760) formed in the battery (220) comprises a surface (770) arranged to engage the leading edge portion (750), wherein the surface (770) has an arcuate form to match that of the leading edge portion (750). The invention further comprises an electrically powered hand-held work tool comprising such a battery lock mechanism.
Battery operated chain saw
A chain saw unit has a sub-frame defining a plurality of mount locations and a plurality of operating components amongst which are at least: a) a battery operated motor; and b) a battery for operating the motor. The plurality of operating components is each operatively placed and maintained at one of the mount locations such that the sub-frame assembly and operatively placed operating components together make up at least part of a main operating unit to which a chain bar and cutting chain can be operatively assembled. The main operating unit has an exposed surface area. An outer housing assembly overlies the exposed surface area and defines an outermost exposed surface. The plurality of operating components are operatively maintained on the sub-frame assembly independently of the outer housing assembly.
Battery operated chain saw
A chain saw kit having a sub-frame assembly and a plurality of operating components, among which are at least a battery operated motor and battery. The sub-frame assembly is configured to define mount locations for the operating components so that the sub-frame assembly and operatively placed operating components make up at least a part of a main operating unit to which a chain bar and cutting chain can be assembled. A first outer housing assembly has at least a first outer housing part with a second outer housing assembly having at least a second outer housing part. The parts of the outer housing assemblies are interchangeably usable to allow selection of different overall size, shape, and/or appearance of chain saws based upon a common sub-frame assembly.
BATTERY OPERATED CHAIN SAW
A chain saw unit has a sub-frame defining a plurality of mount locations and a plurality of operating components including at least: a) a battery operated motor; and b) a battery for operating the motor. The plurality of operating, components are operatively maintained on the sub-frame assembly independently of the outer housing assembly.
BATTERY OPERATED CHAIN SAW
A chain saw kit having a sub-frame assembly and a plurality of operating components, including at least a battery operated motor and battery.
Closure device
A closure device, in particular a tool-holder closure device, includes at least one movably mounted closure element and at least one securing unit. The securing unit includes at least one movably mounted securing element configured to secure the closure element in at least one position thereof. The closure device further includes at least one stop unit which has at least one stop element. The stop element, depending on at least one position of the closure element, is configured to stop the securing element at least largely against a movement relative to the closure element.
Hand-Guided Power Tool with a Control Device
A hand-guided power tool has a power tool housing and an internal combustion engine arranged in the power tool housing and configured to drive a tool member of the power tool. A fuel tank and at least one electric component are provided. A control device that is an electronic control unit is connected to the at least one electric component of the power tool and controls the at least one electric component. The power tool has a top face which, when parking the power tool in a usual parking position on a flat horizontal support surface, is facing upwardly. The electronic control unit is positioned laterally adjacent to the fuel tank device, when viewing the power tool in the usual parking position.
Hand-Guided Power Tool
A hand-guided power tool is provided with an internal combustion engine that has a cylinder and a piston disposed in the cylinder and delimiting together with the cylinder a combustion chamber. A connecting rod connects the piston and the crankshaft. The piston in operation of the internal combustion engine rotatably drives the crankshaft. An electronic control unit and an ignition device with a spark plug are provided. A support is fixedly connected to the crankshaft and a signal transducer is fixedly connected to the support. The ignition device, utilizing a signal generated by the at least one signal transducer, fires the spark plug at a timing which is predetermined by the electronic control unit. The support has a polygonal conical receptacle and the crankshaft has a corresponding polygonal conical section arranged in the polygonal conical receptacle to fixedly connect the support and the crankshaft to each other.
