ROTATING CUTTING ASSEMBLY AND CUTTING TOOTH FOR A ROTATING CUTTING ASSEMBLY
A rotating cutting assembly includes a wheel and a tooth base coupled to an outer periphery of the wheel. The tooth base includes a narrowed stem and an aperture spaced from the narrowed stem. The cutting assembly further includes a cutting tooth removably secured to the tooth base. The cutting tooth has a mounting surface configured to engage the tooth base, and first and second bosses extending from the mounting surface and spaced apart from one another by a distance at least as large as a width of the narrowed stem such that the first and second bosses straddle the stem when the mounting surface engages the tooth base. The cutting tooth further includes an aperture aligned with the aperture in the tooth base. A fastener is received in the aperture of the cutting tooth and the aperture of the base to removably secure the cutting tooth to the base.
CIRCULAR SAW BLADES
A circular saw blade includes a circular plate-like body having a first side face, an opposite second side face, a periphery, and a central opening defining a center point, and rotatable in a cutting direction. A plurality of circumferentially-spaced teeth are separated by a plurality of gullets. Each tooth has a rake face, a top face, a cutting edge at a junction between the rake face and the relief face, a first lateral face joined to the top face at a first top edge, and a second lateral face opposite the first lateral face and joined to the top face at a second top edge. The teeth include a plurality of first beveled teeth, each with its top face beveled radially inward from its first top edge to its second top edge, a plurality of second beveled teeth, each with its top face beveled radially inward from its second top edge to its first top edge, and a plurality of unbeveled teeth. The first beveled teeth, the second beveled teeth, and the unbeveled teeth are arranged in an alternating top bevel+raker pattern. The first top edge of the second beveled tooth is disposed radially inward toward the central opening from the first top edge of the first beveled tooth by a first drop distance.
Saw blade for circular saw and use of such saw blade in a brush cutter
A saw blade (10) comprises a generally circular blade base body (100), and a plurality of teeth (101a, 101b), extending radially from the base body (100). The teeth (101a, 101b) are alternatingly set towards opposing axial (A) directions of the saw blade, such that each tooth presents a respective tooth plane, which is angled relative to a base body plane. The teeth (101a, 101b) present a respective first cutting edge (102a, 102b), extending along a radially distal edge portion (103) of the respective tooth, along a length of the tooth, as seen in a direction of rotation of the saw blade. The radially distal edge portion (103) presents a first bevel (104), providing a first bevel surface (105) which is non-perpendicular relative to the tooth plane. The radially distal edge portion (103) presents, at a radially outermost portion thereof, a hard portion (106) having greater hardness than the base body (100). The saw blade can be used in a brush cutter.
SAW BLADE
A saw blade includes a cutting portion having consecutive first, second, and third cutting teeth. Each cutting tooth includes a rake surface, a relief surface, and a tip. The first cutting tooth includes a protrusion extending from the relief surface of the first cutting tooth. The cutting portion includes a first gullet positioned between the first cutting tooth and the second cutting tooth and a second gullet sized differently than the first gullet positioned between the second cutting tooth and the third cutting tooth. The cutting portion includes a first pitch extending over the first gullet from the tip of the first cutting tooth to the tip of the second cutting tooth. The cutting portion includes a second pitch different than the first pitch extending over the second gullet from the tip of the second cutting tooth to the tip of the third cutting tooth.
SAW BLADE WITH SET CUTTING TEETH
A saw blade includes an elongated body extending along a longitudinal axis and having an elongated cutting edge. A first hard metal strip is attached to a first portion of the cutting edge and includes at least one first full hard metal cutting tooth that is set left at a first angle relative to a vertical axis of the body that is generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. A second hard metal strip attached to a second portion of the cutting edge and includes a second full hard metal cutting tooth that is set right at a second angle relative the vertical axis.
Saw tooth
A saw tooth mountable to a circular saw disc and including a body defining rear and front ends. In operation, the front end leads the rear end as the saw disc turns. A cutting tip extends from the body and defines a cutting tip base adjacent to the body and an opposed cutting edge. The cutting tip base is rearwardly provided relative to the cutting edge. An elongated gullet extends along the cutting tip substantially adjacent to the cutting tip base and defines opposed gullet first and second ends and a gullet longitudinal axis therebetween. A gullet nadir line extends longitudinally between the gullet first and second ends and joins locations along the gullet that are closest to the rear end at all longitudinal positions along the gullet. The gullet nadir line is closer to the rear end at the gullet first end than at the gullet second end.
Saw blade for a saw cutting stalk crops
A saw blade for cutting stalk crops, such as for example maize or millet, has a planar flank and a facet flank and a sawing edge with a succession of saw teeth. The saw teeth are provided with a wear protection zone, the wear resistance of which is greater than that of a material of the base body of the saw blade. The wear protection zone is respectively located on the planar flank of each saw tooth. The saw teeth in the region of the tooth face have a cutting facet, starting from the facet flank. The cutting facet is configured at a distance from the planar flank of the saw tooth to form a blunt tooth cutting edge and, in a preferred embodiment, the cutting facet and the facet flank are configured without a wear protection zone.
Circular Saw Blade
A novel approach to a commercial circular saw blade designed for efficient lumber cutting as well as extended saw blade life because of a reduction in friction and better heat dispersion. The saw plate has thicker body transitioning to a thinner rim at a point between the bottom of the gullet and the bottom of the tooth, generally occurring at the hook of the gullet. This design increases the lateral stiffness of the blade, improves accuracy, maximizes sawdust ejection, eliminates blade wandering, decreases the amount of the cut waste and allows for increased cutting speeds without decreasing the performance or longevity of the blade. This design goes against traditional, prior art saw blade design because of its interpretation of wood physics, blade friction and side clearance tolerances.
Saw blade having noise and stress-reduction structure
A saw blade is provided having a noise and stress-reduction structure, the saw blade having a structure in which a plurality of diamond segments are mounted at a first unit and the first unit has a second unit, thereby reducing the noise generated during a cutting operation, while increasing heating performance with a relatively simple configuration, and simultaneously dispersing impact stress so as to prevent the occurrence of cracks.
Staggered-teeth diamond saw blade and preparation method thereof
A staggered-teeth diamond saw blade includes a circular steel base and a side wall provided at an outer edge of the steel base. Multiple first diamond cutter heads and multiple second diamond cutter heads are alternately arranged at the side wall through laser brazing; multiple diamond teeth protection cutter heads are uniformly distributed on an external surface of the steel base through high frequency induction brazing; a pre-plating layer is preformed at a welding surface where the side wall is welded with the first diamond cutter heads and the second diamond cutter heads; a pre-plating layer is preformed at a welding surface where the external surface of the steel base is welded with the diamond teeth protection cutter heads. The diamond cutter heads of the present invention are staggered to thicken the thickness thereof while cutting concrete pavement and other materials at high speed.
