A slitting tool configured for fine-tuning thereof includes basic body, which in turn includes a body portion and a cutting portion extending therefrom. The slitting tool includes a biasing screw which is seated in a biasing bore and is configured to adjust the position of the cutting portion. The biasing screw is configured to engage a biasing surface of the body portion to adjust the cutting portion's position. The biasing surface is oblique relative to the biasing screw for retarding movement of the biasing screw a fine-tuned position.

METHOD FOR PLACING AT LEAST ONE DUCT/COMMUNICATION CABLE BELOW A ROAD SURFACE IN AN AREA
20170073909 · 2017-03-16 ·

A method for placing at least one duct/communication cable below a road surface in an area. The area comprises a first layer and a second layer, the first layer being a road layer, such as asphalt or concrete, and the second layer being a bearing layer for the first layer and being located below the first layer. The method comprising the steps of cutting a micro trench in the area through the first layer into the second layer, placing at least one duct/communication cable in the micro trench so that that duct/communication cable is placed below the first layer, and filling the micro trench so as to restore the road surface.

SAW BLADE WITH REDUCED MODAL FREQUENCIES IN THE OPERATING FREQUENCY RANGE
20170028488 · 2017-02-02 ·

A saw blade is provided including a circular metal disc including a circular metal disc including a central aperture and a plurality of teeth spaced around a periphery of the circular metal disc. A first plurality of fully enclosed body slots are generally equally spaced from a center of the circular metal disc by a first distance and a second plurality of fully enclosed body slots are each disposed directly radially outward from a respective one of the first plurality of body slots. The second plurality of slots are generally equally spaced from the center of the circular metal disc by a second distance greater than the first distance. The saw blade design provides a blade with no modal frequencies in the operating frequency range.
