Methods and devices for dicing components from a sheet of copper alloy
A saw blade for dicing a sheet of copper alloy to form individual resistors is disclosed, wherein the sheet of copper alloy has a thickness of less than 0.3 mm. The saw blade includes a ring having a first side, a second side, and a circumferential surface, wherein the thickness of the ring between the first side and the second side is less than 0.6 mm.
Tool Device for a Hand-Held Power Tool
A tool device for a hand-held power tool, which can be operated such that the tool device is rotated about an output shaft of a tool-holding device, has at least one connecting device, which is detachably connected to an output shaft of the power tool. The connecting device is fastened to the tool-holding device so that a drive axis of the output shaft and a tool axis of rotation substantially coincide. The connecting device has a cut-out and at least one clamping wing, which at least partly bounds the cut-out in the radial direction of the tool axis of rotation and which is bounded substantially in the direction radial to the tool axis of rotation by a first bounding edge, which lies on a first bounding circle around the tool axis of rotation. The clamping wing extends at least substantially along a plane orthogonal to the tool axis of rotation.
Circular saw blades
A circular saw blade includes a circular plate having a diameter, a thickness, a left face, a right face, a peripheral rim, and a central opening. A plurality of alternating teeth and gullets are disposed about the peripheral rim, each tooth having a front face facing generally toward an adjacent gullet in the cutting direction and a recess defined in the front face. A plurality of cutting inserts are affixed in the recesses in the teeth. Each insert has rake face facing generally toward the adjacent gullet in the cutting direction, a relief face extending generally toward the adjacent top face, and a cutting edge at a junction between the relief face and the rake face. Each rake face is disposed at a hook angle. The relief faces include unbeveled relief faces, left-beveled relief faces, and a right-beveled relief faces arranged in an alternating top bevel with raker pattern.
CIRCULAR SAW BLADE
A circular saw blade includes a body defined by a planar metallic plate, an arbor disposed at a center of the body defining an axis of rotation for the blade, a plurality of projections extending away from a perimeter of the body, the projections each having a leading edge and a trailing edge, and a plurality of teeth disposed at the projections such that one tooth is located at the leading edge of each of the projections. A diameter of the blade is 7? inches, and a total of twenty-seven projections and twenty-seven teeth are disposed at the perimeter of the body.
FELLING HEAD FOR A FORESTRY MACHINE
A forestry machine configured to cut timber, where the forestry machine comprises a felling head including a support frame having an accumulation pocket, an accumulating arm, and a harvest arm. The forestry machine further comprises a stator having coils thereon adapted to produce a time varying stator magnetic field, a rotor having at least either a set of slots or a set of permanent magnets mounted thereon facing the stator and adapted to produce a radially directed flux or an axially directed flux. The rotor is rotatably coupled to the stator in axial alignment therewith by the time varying stator magnetic field. The rotor comprises a saw blade.
ARC SAW BLADES
Arc saw blades and systems and methods for segmenting components utilizing improved arc saw blades.
FLUID-DRIVEN RING SAW
A fluid-driven ring saw includes a ring saw blade that is supported and driven by a fluid. The fluid-driven ring saw can include one or more pairs of fluid nozzles. Each pair of fluid nozzles can include a first fluid nozzle separated from a second fluid nozzle by a gap. The ring blade can be positioned within the gap. The ring blade can include a plurality of holes. The one or more pairs of fluid nozzles can deliver fluid jets that impinge upon the plurality of holes of the ring blade to drive rotation of the ring blade. The ring blade can be driven without direct contact of a mechanical linkage, such as a belt or chain. The ring blade can be relatively thinner than ring blades driven by mechanical linkages.
Laterally Stiffened Circular Saw Blade
A thin kerf commercial circular saw blade designed for accurate commercial lumber sawmill cutting of green wood, having a saw plate with three concentric regions of differing thicknesses and widths. This design goes against traditional thinking of lateral blade stiffening in that no part of the blade has a width exceeding the width of the kerf and the stiffened region exceeds to within of an inch of the saw tooth tip.
ARBOR FOR A SAW BLADE
A saw blade for use on a saw includes a front face, a rear face opposite the front face, and an outer periphery edge between the front face and the rear face. The saw blade also includes a cutting edge located on the outer periphery edge and an arbor located at a center of the saw blade. The arbor includes an arbor body, a central bore formed through the arbor body, and an aperture formed through the front face and the rear face at a perimeter of the arbor body. The aperture is spaced apart from the central bore such that a portion of the arbor body extends between the central bore and the aperture. The aperture is configured to receive a tool to facilitate removing the arbor body from the saw blade.
