Each gullet having an opening defined between the first end of one tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth and the second end of an adjacent tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth. Each opening has an opening width and a gullet width. A ratio between he gullet width over the opening width is greater than or equal to 1.2:1.

SAW BLADE

A saw blade includes a cutting portion having consecutive first, second, and third cutting teeth. Each cutting tooth includes a rake surface, a relief surface, and a tip. The first cutting tooth includes a protrusion extending from the relief surface of the first cutting tooth. The cutting portion includes a first gullet positioned between the first cutting tooth and the second cutting tooth and a second gullet sized differently than the first gullet positioned between the second cutting tooth and the third cutting tooth. The cutting portion includes a first pitch extending over the first gullet from the tip of the first cutting tooth to the tip of the second cutting tooth. The cutting portion includes a second pitch different than the first pitch extending over the second gullet from the tip of the second cutting tooth to the tip of the third cutting tooth.

Saw blade

A reciprocating saw blade includes a body defining a longitudinal axis. The blade includes a cutting portion having a plurality of cutting teeth. Each cutting tooth includes a protrusion and a tip spaced a first distance from the protrusion. The tip of a first cutting tooth is spaced a pitch distance from the tip of an adjacent second cutting tooth. A gullet is defined between the tip of the first cutting tooth and the protrusion of the adjacent second cutting tooth. The tip of a respective cutting tooth is spaced a tip height distance from a base of the gullet. An apex of the protrusion is spaced a protrusion height distance from the base of the gullet. The protrusion height distance is 65% to 68% of the tip height distance. The first distance is 40% to 77% of the pitch distance.

Saw blade

A saw blade includes a body and a plurality of cutting teeth formed on the body. Each cutting tooth includes a tip at a first end of the cutting tooth, a rake face extending from the tip toward the body, a relief face extending from the tip toward a second end of the cutting tooth and sloping toward the body, and a projection at the second end of the cutting tooth and sloping away from the body. The saw blade also includes a plurality of gullets formed on the body between the plurality of cutting teeth. Each gullet forms an undercut portion between the body and the projection of each cutting tooth.

Bandsaw blade

A bandsaw blade, including a main tooth group formed by nine sawteeth arranged in sequence, including three sub-tooth groups including a first sawtooth (1,4,7) of straight tooth, a second sawtooth (2,5,8) of left set tooth and a third sawtooth (3,6,9) of right set tooth. Each of sawteeth (1) and (4)-(6) has chamfers on two sides. Sawtooth (1) has a first height, sawtooth (4) has a second height and sawtooth (7) has a third height. Sawteeth (5) and (6) have the same fourth height. Sawteeth (2), (3), (8) and (9) have the same fifth height. The first through fifth heights are sequentially decreased. A top plane width of sawtooth (4) is larger than that of sawtooth (1). A top plane width of sawtooth (7) is larger than that of sawtooth (4). By using the bandsaw blade, more chips can be produced to reduce total cutting force and improve cutting efficiency.

Some embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a blade. In some embodiments, the blade is configured to produce 50% to 99.9% less residual dust than a comparative blade when the blade is used to cut at least one foam board, where the comparative blade is identical to the blade, except that the comparative blade does not comprise any notches. Methods of using and making the blade and systems that include the blade are also described.

Provided is a handsaw with good cutting performance that ensures a smooth cutting operation and can apply sufficient incising pressure of the saw blade on an object to be cut at any position from the near side to the tip side of the toothed section. The saw teeth 30 of the handsaw each have a vertical cutting edged flush lateral face 31 that rises alternately in flush with one surface and an opposite surface of the saw plate and has a front vertical cutting edge VE1 and a rear vertical cutting edge VE2. Each saw tooth 30 also has an obliquely cut end face 40 at its tip end. The saw teeth are configured such that an incident angle α of the front vertical cutting edge VE1 of each saw tooth 30 with respect to a tooth point line L of the saw increases gradually from an onward stroke beginning side 21a to an onward stroke end side 21b of the toothed section 21.
