Sawing tool
The disclosure relates to a sawing tool, in particular a saw blade, comprising: at least one connection part, which at least partly forms a connection region for connecting to a tool receptacle of a hand-held power tool; at least one main body, in particular one single-piece main body, which is connected to the connection part; at least one array of saw teeth, in particular one array of set saw teeth, which is arranged on the main body; and at least one functional region, in particular one reduction groove region, which is arranged on the main body and on which the array of saw teeth is at least partly arranged. According to the disclosure, the sawing tool has at least one transition region, which is arranged between the at least one connection region and the at least one functional region and which has increased flexural stiffness, in comparison to the functional region, in a direction orthogonal and/or parallel to a cutting plane of the array of saw teeth.
SAW BLADE
A saw blade includes a cutting portion having consecutive first, second, and third cutting teeth. Each cutting tooth includes a rake surface, a relief surface, and a tip. The first cutting tooth includes a protrusion extending from the relief surface of the first cutting tooth. The cutting portion includes a first gullet positioned between the first cutting tooth and the second cutting tooth and a second gullet sized differently than the first gullet positioned between the second cutting tooth and the third cutting tooth. The cutting portion includes a first pitch extending over the first gullet from the tip of the first cutting tooth to the tip of the second cutting tooth. The cutting portion includes a second pitch different than the first pitch extending over the second gullet from the tip of the second cutting tooth to the tip of the third cutting tooth.
Saw blade
A reciprocating saw blade for use with a reciprocating saw. The reciprocating saw blade includes a body defining a longitudinal axis, and a cutting portion formed on the body. The cutting portion includes a plurality of cutting teeth, each cutting tooth including a tip and a protrusion, each tip spaced a separation distance from a corresponding protrusion in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. A protrusion of a first cutting tooth is spaced a gap distance from a tip of an adjacent second cutting tooth in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis. A ratio of the separation distance to the gap distance is at least 0.4 and no greater than 0.5.
REUSABLE OSCILLATING MULTI-TOOL AND RECIPROCATING SAW BLADES
An oscillating multi-tool blade may comprise a blade body and a bonded material for cutting teeth harder than the blade body. A total depth of the bonded material may be greater than one and a half times a height of original blade teeth. The bonded material may comprise high-speed steel, tungsten carbide, or a material harder than the blade body. The blade body may be designed for resharpening or reshaping of the cutting teeth after the original teeth are dull, worn down, or broken. The blade may be initially created with no teeth, allowing a user to create custom blade teeth. The blade body may be designed for replaceable teeth, a strip of teeth, or replaceable material for shaping new teeth. The blade may be cryofrozen. The blade may have a secondary coating for added blade life or friction reduction.
