RECIPROCATING SAW BLADE

A saw blade for use with a power tool includes a body with a first planar surface and a second planar surface opposite the first planar surface. The saw blade also includes an attachment portion that is configured to couple to the power tool. The attachment portion includes a tang and an aperture. The saw blade further includes a cutting edge with a plurality of cutting teeth and a plurality of hexagons formed on the first planar surface. The plurality of hexagons are arranged in a honeycomb pattern in which at least one side of each hexagon is substantially parallel to a corresponding side of an adjacent hexagon.

A sawing tool, in particular a saw blade, includes: at least one connection region, in particular a shaft, for forming a connection to a tool holder of a hand-held power tool; at least one main body, in particular a carrier, which is connected to the connection region and is designed in one piece; at least one set of saw teeth which is located on the main body; and a plurality of reduction grooves which are located on the main body, in particular introduced into the main body by removing material, and which have a main extension running transversely to a cutting edge of the saw teeth. The reduction grooves extend at least over more than 50% of a total transverse extent of at least one flank of the main body from the cutting edge towards a rear side of the main body, the rear side facing away from the saw teeth.

Reciprocating saw blade

A reciprocating saw blade includes an axially elongated blade body having a first end portion, a second end portion, a cutting edge extending from the first end portion to the second end portion, and an opposite back edge extending from the first end portion to the second end portion. An exposed first tang is coupled to the first end portion and is configured to removably mount the blade body in a blade holder of a powered reciprocating saw. An unexposed second tang is defined by a first score in the blade body between the first end portion and the second end portion. The first score is configured so that the second tang can be exposed by breaking off a first removable portion of the blade body at the first score. The second tang is configured to removably mount the blade body in a blade holder of a powered reciprocating saw when the second tang is exposed.

A method of manufacturing a reciprocating saw blade includes forming a body with a shank end configured to secure the blade with a reciprocating saw, a plunging end configured to enter a workpiece, and a cutting edge and opposite back edge extending between the shank end and the plunging end. The cutting edge is formed to include a plurality of teeth arranged in a repeating pattern that includes left set teeth and right set teeth, the plurality of additional teeth being substantially the same size as each other and as the third tooth, wherein the plurality of additional gullets are substantially the same size as each other, and wherein the enlarged first gullet is longer in an axial direction than each of the plurality of additional gullets.

Cutting tool

A saw blade includes a body and a cutting portion coupled to an edge of the body. The cutting portion includes a plurality of cutting teeth. The plurality of cutting teeth includes a first tooth form with an abrasive grit and a second tooth form without an abrasive grit.

A saw blade for a hand-operated machine tool, in particular a reciprocating saw blade, includes a blade portion having a cutting edge and an opposite blade rear, in particular a cutting edge which is defined by a large number of saw teeth. The saw blade further includes a chucking shaft provided to be received by a clamping chuck of the hand-operated machine tool and a lower edge and an opposite upper edge. A transition region is constructed between the chucking shaft and the blade portion, in which a difference in spacing between the spacing of the lower edge and upper edge of the chucking shaft and the spacing between the cutting edge and the blade rear is bridged. A transition region lower edge has a raised portion, in particular a raised portion for stress relief, between the lower edge of the chucking shaft and the cutting edge.

Reciprocating Saw Blade for a Machine Tool

A reciprocating saw blade for a machine tool, in particular a jigsaw blade, includes a first row of saw teeth and a second row of saw teeth. The first and second rows of saw teeth are arranged at an angle to a longitudinal axis of the reciprocating saw blade. The angle of the first row of saw teeth opposes the angle of the second row of saw teeth. The reciprocating saw blade also includes a further row of saw teeth arranged between the first and second rows of saw teeth. The further row of saw teeth is set back, in particular suddenly set back, towards the longitudinal axis in relation to the first and second rows of saw teeth.

Saw blade

A reciprocating saw blade including a body, an attachment portion, a cutting portion formed on the body including a plurality of cutting teeth, and a plunge point for initiating a plunge cut including a plunge tooth and a leading gullet between the plunge tooth and a first tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth. A first angle of the rake face of the plunge tooth is measured through the plunge tooth. A second angle of the rake face of the first cutting tooth is measured through the first cutting tooth. One of the first angle and the second angle is greater than 90 degrees and the other is less than 90 degrees. At least the first cutting tooth is set. The rake face defining the first angle is spaced from the rake face defining the second angle by a distance greater than the pitch of the plurality of cutting teeth.

SAW BLADE

A saw blade contains a body, in particular of a hard material, having a cutting portion. The cutting portion has a length and a width and being provided along its length with a plurality of teeth which are formed by a plurality of grooves. Each tooth being formed by at least two grooves. There is a first plurality of grooves, the grooves of which are parallel to each other along a first direction and in that there is a second plurality of grooves, the grooves of which are parallel to each other in a second direction. The first direction and the second direction are inclined to each other such that along the length of the cutting portion at least one of the grooves of the first plurality of grooves is intersected by a groove of the second plurality of grooves.
