This invention discloses the carbide saw blade and the welding method thereof. The method includes: S1, heating the carbide tool bit, the saw blade base, the welding wire and the welding flux that well-placed; S2, at temperature 760? C.-840? C., spreading the melted welding wire to the gap between the carbide tool bit and the saw blade base by using the wetting action of the welding flux; S3, cooling to obtain a preliminary welding body, when the temperature of the preliminary welding body is lower than 350? C., the preliminary welding body will be processed to first tempering; S4, within 1-3 hours after first tempering, second tempering the preliminary welding body to obtain carbide saw blade; second tempering process is performed in a sealed container, and in this container the temperature of each spatial location is consistent. This invention solves the problems of breaking of the tooth holder during cutting and tensile stress cracking between the adjacent sawteeth.

Ground set saw blade

A saw blade comprises a blade backer with a pair of side surfaces that extend substantially parallel to each other. An intermediate surface extends between the pair of side surfaces of the blade backer. A plurality of teeth extends from the intermediate surface. At least one of the teeth is located entirely within planes containing the side surfaces of the blade backer. A tip is formed at an apex end portion of the one tooth. A leading face surface of the tip on the one tooth is disposed at an acute angle relative to a plane extending perpendicular to the planes containing the side surfaces of the blade backer.

Method for joining hard material bodies to teeth of a saw blade

The invention relates to a method for joining hard material bodies to teeth of a saw blade, in particular of a band saw blade or circular saw blade, wherein each tooth has a tooth face and a tooth back, and the method includes steps of bringing each tooth of the saw blade into a working region, guiding each hard material body toward the tooth located in the working region, advancing a joining device into the working region, joining the hard material body to the tooth located in the working region, and withdrawing the joining device out of the working region. According to the invention, each hard material body is joined to the tooth back of each tooth.

A reciprocating saw blade includes a body having a first end portion, a second end portion, and a plunge point formed on the second end portion of the body. The plunge point includes a leading tooth and a leading gullet. The leading tooth includes a rake face and a tip. The leading gullet includes a base extending from the rake face of the leading tooth to the plurality of cutting teeth. The plunge point includes a second tooth protruding from the base of the leading gullet. The second tooth includes a tip positioned further from the base of the leading gullet than the tip of the second tooth in a direction transverse to a longitudinal axis of the body. The cutting portion also includes a plurality of gullets formed between a plurality of cutting teeth. The leading gullet is larger than each gullet of the plurality of gullets.

A reciprocating saw blade includes a body, an attachment portion coupled to a first end portion of the body, and a cutting portion formed on the body. The cutting portion includes a plurality of cutting teeth. Each cutting tooth includes a tip, a rake face, and a relief surface. The tips of the plurality of cutting teeth define a plane. The saw blade also includes a plunge point formed on a second end portion of the body for initiating a plunge cut. The plunge point includes a leading tooth and a second tooth. The leading tooth includes a tip and a rake face and defines a leading gullet. The second tooth is positioned in the leading gullet closer to the leading tooth than to a nearest cutting tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth. The second tooth includes a tip that is spaced apart from the plane.
