METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREDICTING FRUIT QUALITY
A method of predicting fruit quality in a crop before harvesting the crop, comprises receiving a fruit quality threshold for the crop, and selecting a sub-seasonal time-window and a growth threshold, based on the fruit quality threshold. The method also comprises monitoring growth of the crop before a beginning of the time-window, and continuing the monitoring throughout the time-window. If the monitored growth is below the growth threshold during at least 80% of the time-window, then the method provides a prediction output that the fruit quality is above the fruit quality threshold for at least a first percentage of the crop.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GROWING TRELLISED PLANTS
A system and a method for growing trellised plants are disclosed. The method may include growing the trellised plants downwards on rotatable tubes, letting gravity replace trellising and leaning and lowering of the plants may be replaced by wrapping their stems on the rotatable tubes, by rotating the tubes. The system may include: one or more cultivation systems; a plurality of angularly driving belts, for supporting and driving the one or more cultivation systems; and a rotatable shaft configured to rotate and carry the one or more cultivation systems hanging from the rotatable shaft by the driving belts. Each cultivation system may include a cultivation tube having a plurality of holes for planting the trellised plants; and an irrigation system for providing irrigation to the trellised plants.
Isolated Complex Endophyte Compositions and Methods for Improved Plant Traits
This invention relates to methods and materials for providing a benefit to a plant by associating the plant with a complex endophyte comprising a host fungus further comprising a component bacterium, including benefits to a plant derived from a seed or other plant element treated with a complex endophyte. For example, this invention provides purified complex endophytes, purified complex endophyte components such as bacteria or fungi, synthetic combinations comprising said complex endophytes and/or components, and methods of making and using the same.
PLANT REGENERATION MEDIUM COMPOSITION AND PLANT REGENERATION METHOD USING SAME
The present invention relates to a plant regeneration medium composition and a plant regeneration method using same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a plant regeneration medium composition using a medium composition containing Shungite as an active ingredient to increase the rates of shoot organogenesis and root organogenesis, thereby shortening the time required for organogenesis using a plant explant and improving the efficiency of ontogeny, and to a plant regeneration method using same.
APPARATUS FOR CULTIVATION OF LONG-STEM VEGETABLE PLANTS, RELATED METHOD AND USES
An apparatus for cultivation of long-stem vegetable plants, related system, methods and uses are provided. The apparatus includes a frame rack with at least one essentially horizontal cultivation platform configured to support a stem portion of at least one long-stem vegetable plant rooted in a static cultivation tray, wherein each the cultivation platform is established by a conveying device and wherein speed of the conveying device is adjustable such, as to correspond to the speed of plant growth.

Systems and methods for predicting crop size and yield
A computer system obtains, in electronic format, a training dataset. The training dataset comprises a plurality of training images from a plurality of agricultural plots. Each training image is from a respective agricultural plot in the plurality of agricultural plots and comprises at least one identified fruit. The computer system determines, for each respective fruit in each respective training image in the plurality of training images, a corresponding contour. The computer system trains an untrained or partially trained computational model using at least the corresponding contour for each respective fruit in each respective training image in the plurality of training images, thereby obtaining a first trained computational model that is configured to identify fruit in agricultural plot images.
