THREADING TOOL WITH INTERCHANGEABLE GUIDE INSERTS
A threading tool is disclosed that uses interchangeable guide inserts to ensure that pipes or rods of various diameters are maintained at a perpendicular angle to a threading die. The threading tool includes a housing and a guide insert. The housing includes a first opening at one end and a second opening at an opposite end. The housing defines a first region having a first width adjacent to the first opening and a second region having a second width adjacent to the second opening. The second width is greater than the first width. The guide insert is designed to fit through the first opening and is removably secured within the first region. The second region is shaped to fit a threading die, and the threading die is removably secured in the second region.

METHOD FOR A CENTERING DEVICE FOR A UTILITY TOOL IN A PIPE OR TUBE
A method for centering device on a cutting device using an ultrahigh pressure (UHP) hose carrying UHP fluid that is designed to be inserted into a pipe or tube and cut the same from the inside out. In one example, the cutting device is for insertion into a wellbore for cutting the casing of the wellbore from within the wellbore with a revolvable UHP hose. The cutting head which effectuates the cut may be centered by the centering device that is generally conical in shape such that a portion of the centering device remains exterior to the pipe or tube as the UHP revolves during the cutting action.

A pipe-tapered-thread machining tap has a thread, four spiral flutes and four cutting edges that include a plurality of thread intersection portions at each of which a corresponding one of the four cutting edges intersects with the thread. The thread intersection portions of the cutting edges have four groups, such that each of the four groups has ones of the thread intersection portions that are portions of a corresponding one of the four cutting edges. Every two of the thread intersection portions of each of the four groups is removed, such that, in each of the four groups, at least one of the thread intersection portions that is removed and at least another one of the thread intersection portions that is not removed are alternately arranged in a direction in which a corresponding one of the four cutting edges extends.

A pipe-tapered-thread machining tap has a thread, four spiral flutes and four cutting edges that include a plurality of thread intersection portions at each of which a corresponding one of the four cutting edges intersects with the thread. Centering device for a utility tool in a tube or pipe
A centering device on a cutting device using an ultrahigh pressure (UHP) hose carrying UHP fluid is designed to be inserted into a pipe or tube and cut the same from the inside out. In one example, the cutting device is for insertion into a wellbore for cutting the casing of the wellbore from within the wellbore with a revolvable UHP hose. A modification system for the modification of elongated pieces of stock may include a powered tool for modifying, or altering the piece of elongated stock, and a support device for supporting a position of the elongated stock relative to the powered tool. An arrangement of the components of the powered tool may provide for ergonomic balance of the powered tool. The support device may include a clamping device that clamps, or holds the elongated stock, and an adjustment device that adjusts a position of the clamping device based on a size of the elongated stock. The support device may include a latching device that maintains the position of the clamping device relative to the stock. A reaction arm may inhibit rotation of the tool relative to the stock during operation. A biasing device may provide for application of an axial biasing force on the stock, to initiate operation.
PIPE THREADING OR CUTTING DEVICE
A modification system for the modification of elongated pieces of stock may include a powered tool for modifying, or altering the piece of elongated stock, and a support device for supporting a position of the elongated stock relative to the powered tool. A portable pipe threader includes a collapsible stand, a housing supported by the collapsible stand, the housing supporting a battery-powered drive assembly, a first set of guide rails extending from a first end of the housing and supporting pipe threading tools, and a second set of guide rails extending from a second end of the housing and supporting a roll groover. The roll groover is configured to swing about a first one of the second set of guide rails to selectively engage a second one of the second set of guide rails.
PORTABLE PIPE THREADER
A portable pipe threader includes a collapsible stand, a housing supported by the collapsible stand, the housing supporting a battery-powered drive assembly, a first set of guide rails extending from a first end of the housing and supporting pipe threading tools, and a second set of guide rails extending from a second end of the housing and supporting a roll groover. The roll groover is configured to swing about a first one of the second set of guide rails to selectively engage a second one of the second set of guide rails.
