Faucet thread cleaner
A one piece hand tool is provided for cleaning and chasing water faucet threads. The hand tool has an engagement end and an operating end spaced along a central tool axis. Intermediate the engagement end and operating end, an external surface is provided with an overall hexagonal configuration. The engagement end is open for accessing an internal threaded surface for engagement with water faucet threads to be cleaned. Four equally spaced vertical grooves parallel with the central tool axis are provided in the internal threaded surface of the hand tool and disrupt the internal threaded surface to contain debris during operation of the tool. The internal threaded surface has sharp leading and trailing edges for cleaning and chasing the water faucet threads during engagement and disengagement with the hand tool.
Readjustment system
The invention relates to a readjustment system that comprises an advancing head, wherein a tool can be moved in an advancing direction by a tool slide which is adjusted by means of at least one piezo actuator.

Die stock
A die stock comprising a holder, which is symmetrical to a centric holder longitudinal axis, wherein the holder has a plurality of receiving grooves each of which is configured for receiving a cutting insert and a clamping wedge, each of the receiving grooves extending from a first end face of the holder in the axial direction, the first end face running transversely to the axial direction, and wherein each of the receiving grooves extends from an inner side of the holder in a radial direction, the inner side facing toward the holder longitudinal axis. The die stock further comprises a plurality of cutting inserts, wherein each cutting insert has, on a front side that faces substantially toward the holder longitudinal axis, at least one cutting edge. The die stock further comprises a plurality of clamping wedges arranged detachably in the receiving grooves.

Method and tool for producing a thread in a workpiece
A method for producing a thread can include a) generating a number n1 of twisted grooves in a wall of the workpiece encircling a thread axis (M) or generating a wall of the workpiece which has a number n1 of twisted grooves and encircles a thread axis, b) respectively inserting a thread generating region of a tool into each of the twisted grooves in a twisted insertion movement, c) generating a thread in each wall sub-region, adjoining the groove(s), of the wall of the workpiece by rotating the tool about the thread axis (M) and with a simultaneous axial feed motion of the tool coaxially with respect to the thread axis with a particular axial feed speed and d) moving each thread generating region of the tool out of the associated groove in a twisted removal movement matched to the twisting of the associated twisted groove.

Thread repair assembly and thread repair kit
A thread repair assembly is provided. The thread repair assembly comprises a cutting-nut housing including a first axial end, a second axial end and an internal cutting-nut interface, the first and second axial ends each having an opening. The thread repair assembly further includes a cutting nut at least partially enclosed by the cutting-nut housing and including a plurality of cutting threads configured to engage a threaded element when the assembly is urged in a first axial direction and disengage the threaded element when the thread repair assembly is urged in a second axial direction opposing the first axial direction.
