A VACCINE TO PROTECT AGAINST MYCOPLASMA HYOPNEUMONIAE

A vaccine comprising nanoparticles in association with a Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae bacterin, wherein the nanoparticles comprise a cationic polysaccharide and an anionic phospholipid.

Vaccine adjuvants and formulations

Compositions comprising an antigen, a carbohydrate, and a metabolizable oil, methods of administering such compositions to a subject, methods of making such compounds, and related compositions, methods, and uses.

Novel immunogenic formulations comprising linear or branched polyacrylic acid polymer adjuvants

The present invention provides for novel immunological and vaccine formulations comprising a newly applied non-crosslinked polyacrylic acid polymer adjuvant. The adjuvants may be combined with a wide variety of immunogens to produce vaccines that are safe and effective when administered to a wide range of target animals. The immunogens may include, but are not limited to: inactivated pathogens, attenuated pathogens, subunits, recombinant expression vectors, plasmids or combinations thereof. The animals may include, but are not limited to: humans, murine, canines, felines, equines, porcines, ovines, caprines and bovines.

Glycotargeting therapeutics

Glycotargeting therapeutics are useful in the treatment of transplant rejection, autoimmune disease, food allergy, and immune response against a therapeutic agent.

PNEUMOCOCCAL CAPSULAR SACCHARIDE CONJUGATE VACCINE

The present invention is in the field of pneumococcal capsular saccharide conjugate vaccines. Specifically, an immunogenic composition for infants is provided comprising a multivalent Streptococcus pneumoniae vaccine comprising 2 or more capsular saccharide conjugates from different serotypes, wherein the composition comprises a serotype 22F saccharide conjugate. Such a vaccine may be used in infant populations to reduce the incidence of elderly pneumococcal disease such as exacerbations of COPD and/or IPD.

Pharmaceutical composition that includes the surface and nucleocapsid antigens of the hepatitis B virus

This invention reveals the pharmaceutical composition that includes the surface antigen (HBsAg) of the hepatitis B virus (HBV) and the antigen of the nucleocapsid (or core, HBcAg) of the same virus. The HBcAg of this composition contains messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) at a proportion of over 45% of the total amount of ribonucleic acid (RNA) in this antigen. Because of the changes in the constitution of the antigens forming it, the composition of the invention is useful for the prevention or treatment of chronic hepatitis B. It also covers the use of this pharmaceutical composition in the production of a drug for immuno-prophylaxis or immunotherapy against HBV infection, and its use to increase the immune response against an additional antigen that is co-administered with the mixture of these antigens.

MODIFIED CARRIER PROTEINS FOR O-LINKED GLYCOSYLATION

Carrier proteins modified to incorporate one or more pilin glycotags and applications thereof for O-linked glycosylation are provided. In particular, a modified carrier protein comprising a carrier protein that comprises at least one GlycoTag, wherein the at least one GlycoTag is a Neisseria gonorrhoeae PglL GlycoTag (NgGlycoTag), Neisseria lactamica PglL GlycoTag (NlGlycoTag), or Neisseria shayeganii GlycoTag (NsGlycoTag), or combinations thereof is provided, together with nucleic acids and vectors encoding the modified carrier protein, host cells comprising these modofoed carrier proteins or nucleic acids encoding them, bioconjugates, methods of making bioconjugates and uses of the bioconjugates.
