WELDING CONDITION DERIVATION DEVICE
A welding parameter derivation device of a welding machine having a torch and a weaving mechanism derives welding parameters in accordance with the cross-sectional shape of a weld portion of a new base metal. A database stores welding parameter data, and a welding parameter computation unit computes welding parameters for the shape of a groove or joint of a new base metal. Based on past welding parameter data for a shape similar to that of a groove or joint of a new base metal, and input data pertaining to the specifications of the welding machine, the computation unit derives welding parameter data for the new base metal, taking into account a parameter of the cross-sectional area of the weld portion formed on the new base metal, the bead height of the weld portion, the quantity of heat inputted to the new base metal, and a torch weaving parameter.
Stabilizer for a motor vehicle and method for producing the same
A method of producing a stabilizer (10) of a motor vehicle, such that the stabilizer includes a torsion bar (11) and longitudinal links (12, 13). The longitudinal links (12, 13) are in each case connected to the torsion bar (11) by welding, and the longitudinal links (12, 13) and the torsion bar (11) are heat-treated before welding. Each longitudinal link (12, 13) is welded at one end to the torsion bar (11) on both sides, in each case, by a respective multilayer weld seam (14), and each weld seam (14) is made with unequal widths such that the width of the weld seam (14) adjacent to the torsion bar (11) is shorter than its width adjacent to the respective longitudinal link (12, 13).
Welding head comprising a movable electrode and related welding method
The invention relates to a welding head (1) comprising a heat-resistant electrode (2) for carrying out TIG welding operations on workpieces, in which the electrode (2) is movably mounted and can also be caused to move by a device (20). The electrode (2) preferably carries out either a rotating movement about the axis (A) thereof or an oscillating movement about said axis. During a preferably manual welding operation, undesired alloying-up is thus excluded during accidental contact between the electrode (2) and the workpiece to be welded. Moreover, repeated adhesion of liquefied welding filler material to the electrode (2) can be substantially prevented in the event that a welding filler material is supplied. With welding heads (1) which are cooled by means of a fluid circuit, said circuit, in cooperation with a turbine, can also be used to drive a rotating electrode (2). The movable electrode (2) can be connected to the voltage source thereof either via a sliding contact or via an electrically conducting liquid surrounding the electrode (2). The invention further relates to a method in which the welding head (1) according to the invention is used.
CONTROL METHOD, CONTROL DEVICE, WELDING SYSTEM, CONTROL PROGRAM, AND WELDING METHOD
A method for controlling a welding robot or a control device relating to GMAW when a groove is provided in a material being welded, the compositions of the material being welded and a welding wire are different from one another, and the welding wire contains 5% or more of Ni, the method having: setting execution information that includes at least one from among the plate thickness, the groove depth, and the estimated welding metal height, as well as at least one from among the gap size and the groove width in a central position at a layer height calculated in advance; and calculating a weaving width before or during welding on the basis of the execution information and setting or correcting welding conditions including at least the weaving width.
HORIZONTAL BUTT JOINT HIGH DEPOSITION WELDING APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for high deposition welding a horizontal butt joint which can form a high deposition welded part while forming a root part when high deposition welding is carried out relative to a bevel in case of automatic welding of a horizontal butt joint, thereby achieving high deposition welding without any defect of the inside and surface of a welded cross section and reducing the number of welding passes. The horizontal butt joint high deposition welding apparatus is installed on a traveling device part in a welding direction by a welding tip so as to move in a forward direction of welding progress and a horizontal butt joint high deposition welding method, thereby preventing the molten metal from running down, allowing a user to easily handle the apparatus, reducing weight, and completing surface beads because a lower part is filled with molten metal.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED WELDING
The present application discloses a system and method for welding. More particularly, the present application relates to a method and system for carrying out an automated or semi-automated welding operation with minimal input from an operator.
Rail welding method and device
A rail welding method and device are provided. The method includes: welding a bottom of rail, wherein welding is repeatedly performed along a first swing trajectory in a lengthwise direction of a weld seam, from one end of the bottom of rail to the other end of the bottom of rail; welding a waist of rail, wherein welding is repeatedly performed in the lengthwise direction of the weld seam along a second swing trajectory, from one end of the waist of rail, and the second swing trajectory is divided into two regions for respective welding in a width direction of the weld seam; and welding a head of rail, wherein welding is performed in the lengthwise direction of the weld seam along the first swing trajectory, between one end of the head of rail and the other end of the head of rail.
