SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CHANGING ELECTRODES IN CONTINUOUS WELDING PROCESSES

Disclosed herein are continuous welding systems and methods for changing electrodes in continuous welding operations. The continuous welding system may include a first and a second welding assembly. A controller may engage with each welding assembly and may individually energize either one of the welding assemblies or both welding assemblies to perform a continuous welding operation. Electrodes from one welding assembly may be removed and replaced without interrupting the operation of at least one other welding assembly. A method of changing electrodes in a continuous welding operation may include performing a welder swap sequence to replace one electrode from a first welding assembly without interrupting the operation of at least one other welding assembly.

A plasma arc welding system includes at least two wire delivery mechanisms and at least two wires. Each of the two wires is delivered by one of the at least two wire delivery mechanisms.

Method for performing a welding process, welding device and wire coil for such a welding device

A method and a welding device for performing a welding process on a workpiece by a welding torch, uses a melting welding wire, which is arranged on a wire coil and may be supplied to the welding torch via a hose package, wherein different welding wires and different welding parameters are used depending on the geometry of the workpiece. A welding wire formed by the different interconnected welding wires in lengths depending on the geometry of the workpiece is arranged on the wire coil, so the welding process may be performed without interruptions using the different welding wires and the different welding parameters by supplying to the welding torch the welding wire formed by the different interconnected welding wires from the wire coil.

Welding device and method for operating a welding device

A welding device (1) has a contact tip (2) with an elongated feeding means for feeding a welding wire (4), wherein the contact tip (2) is arranged on or in a nozzle holder (6). A feed device (100) transfers the welding wire (4) from a first orientation into a second orientation, wherein in the first orientation the welding wire (4) is fed to the feed device (100), and in the second orientation the welding wire (4) is led out of the feed device (100) to the nozzle holder (6). A plurality of welding wire cores (8, 10) are introduced into a conduit element (200) via a first conduit element end (202). The welding wire (4) which is guided in the welding wire cores (8, 10) can be guided out of the conduit element (200) via a second conduit element end (204). The welding wire (4) which is guided out of the conduit element (200) via the second conduit element end (204) can be fed into the feed device (100), especially while in the first orientation.

Welding rod dispenser

A welding rod dispenser comprising: a deck, where the deck angles downward from back to front; a rotating assembly located at the front of the deck, where the rotating assembly comprises grabber teeth; and a leveler assembly located atop the deck. Welding rods placed atop the deck may tend to slide forward under the leveler assembly where the leveler assembly levels them into a single layer. Individual welding rods may then be grabbed by the grabber teeth one at a time before being moved forward by the rotating assembly for retrieval by the user.
