FLEXIBLE TIG WELDING TORCH
Disclosed is a flexible TIG welding torch having a torch body for performing an angle adjustment of a torch head with respect to a torch handle, wherein the torch body includes: a multi-array spiral wires having both ends connected to the torch head and the torch handle; a first protective sleeve supported in contact with outer sides of the wires and organized as a mesh structure; a second protective sleeve laminated as a mesh structure on an outer side of the first protective sleeve, and bonded onto an inner surface of a clad body of the torch body; and an adhesive layer impregnated into the mesh structures of the first and second protective sleeves to fix the first and second protective sleeves to each other, and support compressive and tensile stresses formed in the first and second protective sleeves.
System for Arc Welding with Enhanced Metal Deposition
A welding system includes a power supply configured to output power to a welding device. The power supply is configured to alternate the power output between an arc phase and a hotwire phase. The power output in the arc phase produces an arc between a welding electrode and a workpiece, and the power output in the hotwire phase heats the welding electrode without producing an arc.

Collar assembly for securing consumables of an arc welding apparatus
An arc welding apparatus includes a conductor tube assembly that has a collar assembly with a collar body that is biased by a spring. A consumable assembly is mechanically secured to the conductor tube and displaces the collar body and the collar body imparts a biasing force against the consumable assembly pretensioning the consumable assembly on the conductor tube assembly.
Device for shielding from weld spatter with an integrated cleaning system
A device (100) for covering the welding area for hot rolling lines consists of an outer container (1), a protective shield (2), a blade-holder (3) with scraping blades, and an actuator (9). Protection occurs by linearly sliding the protective shield (2) outside the outer container (1) up to minimizing the gaps with the billets. The cleaning occurs at the same time as the return to the rest position: the scraping blades, which are integral with the container (1) and are installed in contact with the inner surface of the protective shield (2), slide thereon during the raising, thus colliding with the deposits of solidified material and removing them. Completing the device (100) additionally is a small alternating linear motion of the protective shield (2) during operation to always keep the attachment area of the scraping blades clean, thus avoiding the need for excessive detachment forces at the beginning of the raising.
Methods and systems for indicating a schedule in a welding-type torch
Systems and methods are provided for indicating schedules in welding-type torches. A welding-type system may comprise a welding-type power source, a welding-type torch, driven by the welding-type power source, and a welding-type connector configured for connecting the welding-type power source to the welding-type torch. The welding-type torch may comprise one or more indication components configured for providing, to a user of the welding-type system, indications relating to at least one of operations of the welding-type torch, status of welding-type operations, or welding-type parameters. The one or more indications comprise an indication of a present value of a particular welding-type parameter that pertains to configuration of the welding-type power source; and the one or more indication components are configured to provide the indication of present value of the particular welding-type parameter without requiring a change to structure of the welding-type connector.
Welding apparatus
A welding electrode apparatus has a base member and a locking ring for clamping a consumable electrode tip to the electrode base. The base and the tip are predominantly made of copper, or a copper alloy. The base member has a first end that is threaded to fit a welding head that supplies electric current; and an electrically conductive second end to which the electrode tip is mounted. The second portion has an externally facing, axially extending cylindrical wall. A circumferential groove is formed in the wall. The locking ring has a quick-disconnect feature in the form of an array of spring-loaded stainless steel ball bearing detents that deflect to ride upon the cylindrical wall, and spring inwardly to seat in the circumferential groove.
Reversible weld torch trolley
A trolley includes a body and a side block coupled to the body via a pivot arm and a spring. An adjustment knob adjusts a position of the side block relative to the body. A first plurality of rollers are coupled to the body and roll along a first roller recess on a first side of a length of a cap channel. A second plurality of rollers are coupled to the side block and roll along a second roller recess on a second side of the length of the cap channel. A first welding torch bracket positions a welding torch at a first interface between the first side of the length of the cap channel and a first deck sheet as the trolley traverses the length of the cap channel.

HOTWIRE DEPOSITION MATERIAL PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A material processing system includes a power supply and a wire feeder to feed a wire electrode for a material processing operation. The enthalpy and/or temperature of a region of the tip of the electrode is maintained substantially constant via closed loop control. The control may be based upon regulation of current applied to the electrode. The control of the current may be based upon an electrode extension error. Wire feed speed may also be controlled to assist in maintaining a substantially constant enthalpy and/or temperature near the electrode tip.
