HOT-WIRE WELDING ASSEMBLY FOR DEEP AND NARROW RECESSED GAPS
A contact tip for hot-wire welder is provided that are adapted to operate in deep and narrow recessed gaps within a work piece. Contact tips in accordance with the current invention provide for an assembly having a body portion with a cavity and an extension portion which is inserted into the cavity. The extension portion is non-electrically conductive and allows the contact tip assembly to reach into deep, narrow grooves without worry of shorting the contact tip of the consumable.
CARTRIDGE FOR A LIQUID-COOLED PLASMA ARC TORCH
A consumable cartridge frame for a liquid-cooled plasma arc torch is provided. The consumable cartridge frame includes an insulator body configured to be disposed between a torch head and a cartridge tip. The consumable cartridge also includes a first cooling channel, disposed in the body, configured to conduct a first fluid flow received from the torch head to contact a component of the cartridge tip connected to the cartridge frame. The consumable cartridge further includes a first return channel, disposed in the body, configured to conduct at least a portion of the first fluid flow from the component to the torch head. The first cooling channel and the first return channel are non-concentric in relation to a central longitudinal axis of the body.
Welding torch assembly device
A welding torch assembly device comprising a revolution power connector (RPC) directly connectable to a power cable and electrically connectable to a neck of a welding torch, and a torch connector assembly for accommodating the RPC is provided. The welding torch assembly device may include an infinite rotation module with a shock sensor for allowing infinite rotation connection with a cable. The welding torch neck may be connected to the torch connector via a handnut.

Device and method for contacting a welding rod and contact shell
The invention relates to a device and a method for contacting a welding wire (13) in a welding torch (10), including at least two contact shells (31) having a contact area (32) for contacting the welding wire (13), and to a contact shell (31) for contacting a welding wire (13). In order to make the contact of the welding wire as constant and permanent as possible during the lifetime of a contacting device, the contact shells (31) have a holding section (48) and are arranged inside a sleeve (37) to define a rotational axis (43), the sleeve (37) being fastened to a nozzle pipe (38) having an integrated pressure mechanism (36), and the pressure mechanism (36) being adapted to exert pressure (33) on the contact shells (31). The sleeve (37) includes a holding device (42) for exerting a counter-force (34) onto the contact shells (31). The welding wire (13) is contacted in the contact area (32) of the contact shells (31) with a contact force (35).
ARC WELDING DEVICE
Provided is an arc welding device capable of welding base materials different in plate thickness, shape, or the like from each other with high quality in a narrow work space. An arc welding device 1 welds a first base material 80 and a second base material 90 that respectively include flat parts 81 and 91, and bent parts 82 and 92, the flat parts 81 and 91 extending in a direction of approaching each other, and the bent parts 82 and 92 being bent from the flat parts 81 and 91 and extending in an intersecting direction of the flat parts 81 and 91 to be in contact with each other, the arc welding device including: a welding electrode 11; a first ground electrode 20 extending along the bent part 82 of the first base material 80 to be in contact with the flat part 81 of the first base material 80; and a second ground electrode 30 extending along the bent part 92 of the second base material 90 to be in contact with the flat part 91 of the second base material 90, the first ground electrode 20 and the second ground electrode 30 being respectively in contact with the flat part 81 of the first base material 80 and the flat part 91 of the second base material 90 independently of each other.
