A system includes a machine tool having a clamp. The system also includes a processing head configured to be temporarily held by the clamp of the machine tool. The processing head is also configured to deposit one or more media onto a workpiece. The processing head includes a guide configured to direct energy from an energy source onto the workpiece and/or the one or more media. The processing head also includes one or more supplies including one or more reservoirs within the processing head. The one or more reservoirs are configured to receive the one or more media, store the one or more media as the processing head is moved from one location to another location, and provide the one or more media.

WELDING PROCESS WIRE FEEDER ADAPTER INSULATOR

An adapter assembly includes a coupling portion that couples to a gas metal arc welding (GMAW) wire drive assembly and receives electrical current flow from the GMAW wire drive assembly. Additionally, the adapter assembly includes a receiving portion that couples with a connector of a welding cable of a non-GMAW torch to provide the electrical current flow to the non-GMAW torch from the GMAW wire drive assembly. Further, the adapter assembly includes an insulating component that affixes around the receiving portion.

ADAPTER MODULE FOR TORCH

An adapter module for a torch includes a memory storing instructions thereon and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions stored on the memory to receive a first signal output by the torch and output a second signal based on the first signal to a power supply to operate the power supply.

Electromagnetic radiation steering mechanism

A laser marking system for marking a product includes a marking head having an electromagnetic radiation steering mechanism configured to steer electromagnetic radiation to address a specific location within a two-dimensional field of view. The electromagnetic radiation steering mechanism comprises a first optical element having an associated first actuator configured to rotate the first optical element about a first rotational axis to change a first coordinate of a first steering axis in the two-dimensional field of view and a second optical element having an associated second actuator configured to rotate the second optical element about a second rotational axis to change a second coordinate of a second steering axis in the two-dimensional field of view. The electromagnetic radiation steering mechanism comprises an electromagnetic radiation manipulator configured to introduce a difference between a first angle and a second angle (defined between the first and second rotational and steering (respectively) axes).

Hose assembly and coupling device for a welding device

A hose assembly includes a plurality of lines for supplying a welding torch with operating media, such as welding current, welding wire, protective gas and/or control signals. The lines include a coolant line for feeding cooling medium of a coolant source to a welding torch. The hose assembly has a coupling element for detachably connecting to a welding unit or to a welding torch. A further coupling element for the coolant line is integrated in the coupling element. The coupling and decoupling direction of the further coupling element is orientated transverse to the longitudinal axis of the hose assembly. The coupling elements can each be coupled and decoupled independently from each other. A plug element is used in the coupling element. The coolant line has a plug connection.
