DETACHABLE PORTABLE WELDING TOOLS AND SET
20210296799 · 2021-09-23 ·

The detachable portable welding tools having short or non-existent cables provides an easy and convenient way for users in the welding industry to carry their welding tools in their toolbox. The presently claimed invention operates similarly to conventional electrode holder while eliminating the need for users to carry around excess welding cable. The detachable portable welding set attaches directly to any welding cable/lead, without the need for a long cable attached to the electrodes, thereby saving space within a toolbox and saving users time and money.

SMART REGULATORS FOR WELDING-TYPE SYSTEMS
20210283708 · 2021-09-16 ·

Systems and apparatus are disclosed relating to smart regulators and smart manifolds for welding-type systems. A smart regulator may be coupled to a fluid tank and provide information regarding the current pressure(s) and/or flow rate to a remote device and/or operator. The remote device may also determine and/or output additional information, such as, for example, remaining fluid and/or remaining time before the fluid runs out or becomes dangerously low. A smart manifold may be configured to work with several different fluid supplies. In this way, an operator may easily mix fluid types, switch between different fluid types, and/or switch between different fluid tanks.

SPOT WELDING APPARATUS

The invention pertains to a welding apparatus, particularly to a spot sa welding apparatus which utilizes a single welding electrode/torch to weld vertically adjacent metallic sheets or plates together. The apparatus comprises a MAG welding apparatus with a welding torch and shielding inert or semi-inert gases gas source configured to protect the welded working place, an apparatus for creating holes in at least one of the welded metallic sheets and at least one frame part for assembling the MAG welding apparatus and apparatus for creating holes.

Welding lead connector and welding lead connector including locking mechanism

A male welding lead connector apparatus including a slidable member to block the male welding lead connector from rotating relative to a female welding lead connector when the two connectors are engaged with one another. A method of locking a male welding lead connector to a female welding lead connector using a special male welding lead connector including a slidable member to block the male welding lead connector from rotating relative to a female welding lead connector when the two connectors are engaged with one another.

QUICK DISCONNECT TORCH HANDLE

Provided herein is a quick disconnect torch handle for use in a plasma arc system. In one approach, the plasma arc system includes a lead having a first end connected to a power source and a second end connected to a torch handle. The quick disconnect is located at a proximal end of the torch handle, and may include at least one signal connection, a pilot connection, a fluid connection, and a main power connection. The fluid and power connection may be formed by a connection between a main power socket and a conductive conduit. Specifically, the main power socket includes a conductive spring and an O-ring encircling an interior bore thereof. Removal of the conductive conduit from the main power socket causes the fluid connection to break between the O-ring and the conductive conduit, and then the power connection to break between the conductive spring and the conductive conduit.

Apparatus, systems, and/or methods for providing welding systems or portions of welding systems that provide a tip-retention device that is configured to direct gas radially towards a contact tip.

Welding Torch With Strain Relief Clasp Coupling A Strain Relief To A Connector And Clamping A Sleeve Again The Connector
20210060689 · 2021-03-04 ·

The present disclosure relates to a welding torch having a clasp (300) that couples a protective sleeve (150) to a welding torch through a strain relief (200). The protective sleeve (150) encloses a welding cable assembly. The strain relief (200) encircles a portion of the protective sleeve (150). The protective sleeve (150) is further fitted over a ball swivel that is coupled to a handle (38) of the welding torch. The clasp (300) clamps over the strain relief (200), protective sleeve (150), and ball swivel to securely couple the protective sleeve (150) to the welding torch.

TORCH BODY FOR THERMAL JOINING

The invention relates a torch body for thermal joining of at least one workpiece, in particular for arc welding or arc brazing, said torch body comprising a non-consumable electrode provided in the body, in particular a tungsten electrode, for generating an arc between the electrode and the workpiece. The torch body has an end nozzle, which is devoid of potential, for discharging a shielding gas flow from a gas outlet. A secondary flow channel is provided for dividing the shielding gas flow into a main gas flow and a secondary gas flow, the secondary gas flow annularly surrounding the main gas flow at the gas outlet.

ADAPTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE PNEUMATIC ELECTRIC CONNECTOR
20210057839 · 2021-02-25 ·

An adaptable multiple purpose connector system for simultaneous pneumatic and electric connections includes a pin and socket. Each connector has an electrical contact a cylindrical hollow core extending through the connector from one end to other. The pin and socket are shaped to be complementary to each other such that the pin can be at least partially inserted into the socket such that the cylindrical hollow cores are aligned and the electrical contact are mated. An internal seal forms an air-tight connection is formed between the pin and socket connector. An external seal positioned on the outward ends of the pin and socket connectors creates a sealed pneumatic connection with pneumatic tubes when the connectors are mated. Additional connections may include solid transport such as feed wire in an example welding configuration.
