ENERGY AUGMENTATION STRUCTURES IN ADHESIVE BONDING COMPOSITIONS
An emission enhancement structure having at least one energy augmentation structure; and an energy converter capable of receiving energy from an energy source, converting the energy and emitting therefrom a light of a different energy than the received energy. The energy converter is disposed in a vicinity of the at least one energy augmentation structure such that the emitted light is emitted with an intensity larger than if the converter were remote from the at least one energy augmentation structure. Also described are various uses for the energy emitters, energy augmentation structures and energy collectors in a wide array of fields, including various adhesives applications.

The energy converter is disposed in a vicinity of the at least one energy augmentation structure such that the emitted light is emitted with an intensity larger than if the converter were remote from the at least one energy augmentation structure. Also described are various uses for the energy emitters, energy augmentation structures and energy collectors in a wide array of fields, especially in the field of solar cells and other energy conversion devices.
Plasmonic assisted systems and methods for interior energy-activation from an exterior source
A method and a system for producing a change in a medium disposed in an artificial container. The method places in a vicinity of the medium at least one of a plasmonics agent and an energy modulation agent. The method applies an initiation energy through the artificial container to the medium. The initiation energy interacts with the plasmonics agent or the energy modulation agent to directly or indirectly produce the change in the medium. The system includes an initiation energy source configured to apply an initiation energy to the medium to activate the plasmonics agent or the energy modulation agent.
COMPOSITIONS, COMBINATIONS AND RELATED METHODS FOR PHOTOIMMUNOTHERAPY
Provided herein are conjugates, compositions and methods for use in photoimmunotherapy, such as photoimmunotherapy induced by activation of a phthalocyanine dye conjugated to a targeting molecule that binds a protein on cell, for example, an IR700-antibody conjugate. In some embodiments, the phthalocyanine-dye conjugate can be activated by irradiation with near-infrared light. Features of the conjugates, compositions and methods, including the dose of the conjugate, provide various advantages, such as lower toxicity and/or improved efficacy. In some embodiments, also provided is a dual label phthalocyanine-dye conjugate in which the targeting molecule is conjugated to an additional fluorescent dye, which can be used for photoimmunotherapy while, for example, also exhibiting improved performance for imaging or detection. Also provided are therapeutic methods using the conjugates and compositions for treatment of diseases and conditions, including tumors or cancers.
VIRUS-LIKE PARTICLE CONJUGATES FOR DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF TUMORS
The present disclosure is directed to methods and compositions for the diagnosis and/or treatment of tumors, such as ocular tumors, using virus-like particles conjugated to photosensitive molecules.
RESIQUIMOD TOPICAL AND INJECTABLE COMPOSITIONS FOR THE TREATMENT OF NEOPLASTIC SKIN CONDITIONS
Compositions and methods for treatment of viral skin disease, precancerous and cancerous skin disease, and other neoplasms are disclosed.
BIOPHOTONIC COMPOSITIONS, METHODS, AND KITS FOR INHIBITING AND DISRUPTING BIOFILMS
The present document describes methods of using compositions for inhibiting biofilm formation, or disrupting existing or developing biofilms in a subject, which composition comprises at least one chromophore and a pharmacologically acceptable carrier.
Optimized peptides for targeting human nerves and their use in image guided surgery, diagnostics and therapeutic
The present invention provides methods for guiding preservation of human neurons or human nerves during surgery by administering a fluorescently-labeled peptide that specifically binds to the human neurons or human nerves. The invention further provides human neuron or nerve targeting molecules comprising fluorescently-labeled peptides that specifically bind to human neurons or human nerves and compositions thereof.
Near infrared absorbing dye-based composite particles exhibiting photothermal effect, method for manufacturing the same, and use thereof
The present invention relates to near-infrared-absorbing dye-based composite particles which exhibit a photothermal effect and/or photoacoustic signal upon photoirradiation, a preparation method thereof, and a use thereof. The near-infrared-absorbing composite particles comprise: a water-insoluble salt of a near-infrared-absorbing dye, which comprises anions of the near-infrared-absorbing dye and metal cations capable of forming a precipitation product with the anions of the near-infrared-absorbing dye; and particles of a polymeric surfactant, in which a water-insoluble salt of the near-infrared-absorbing dye is supported in the hydrophobic part of the polymeric surfactant.
METHOD FOR IRRADIATING CELLS WITH LIGHT, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING MEDICAL DEVICE, AND MEDICAL DEVICE
A method for irradiating cells with light includes administering a photosensitizing agent that uses a phthalocyanine dye, which is a fluorescent dye, and irradiating cells with therapeutic light with a light intensity of more than 0 mW/cm.sup.2 and 50 mW/cm.sup.2 or less up to at least 1 J/cm.sup.2.
