MECHANISM FOR RELEASING ELECTRODE CAPS FROM A SPOT WELDING GUN
A mechanism for releasing a pair of electrode caps from a pair of electrode cap holders of a spot welding gun. A rotatable member (11) which can be rotated about an axis (x) has an axially extended through cavity (19) with an inner cylindrical wall in which there are formed two axially spaced sets of niches (20, 21). The niches each have a curved axial wall (20c, 21c) with an eccentric profile relative to the axis of rotation (x). The niches of each set have depths and curvatures progressively increasing in a same circumferential direction. Two sets of gripping rollers (24, 25), partially received in the two sets of niches (20, 21), are provided for gripping two electrode caps (E) on a same welding gun.
Spot welding cap changer
The invention relates to a spot welding cap changer (1) with a cap puller (2) and two cap magazines (3, 3A), the cap puller (2) having a gripper (20) with spring-loaded, pivotable jaws (21, 22), which in response to a turning and axial pulling-off movement detaches a spot welding cap (K) of a pincer spot welding head introduced into it from a shaft of the pincer welding head in such a way that it is clamped to prevent it twisting, and the cap magazines (3, 3A) holding spot welding caps respectively in a round cap carrier (31) such that they are circularly arranged in a directed and oriented manner and are respectively transported individually one after the other into an access position against a stop (32) by an advancing force (P).
SWING ARM ASSEMBLY WITH LIFT ASSEMBLY
A swing arm assembly is provided for a spot welding machine. The swing arm assembly can accommodate a tip dresser or a tip exchanger and can include a lift assembly that can translate the tip dresser from a first position to a second position along a lateral axis.
SPRING-ASSISTED LINEAR DRIVE
A double-acting linear actuator includes a linear actuator, a receiving disk, a spring, and a piston rod having a piston rod extension fixed to the receiving disk. The spring's first end is supported on the linear actuator and it's second end is supported on the receiving disk. The spring is tensioned by a displacement of the piston rod extension when a pressure is applied to a side of the piston rod. A linear movement is triggered at a force transmission element with a maximum system force when a pressure is applied to a piston side of the linear actuator so that the spring is tensioned and presses against the receiving disk to thereby introduce a stored force of the spring, via the receiving disk being firmly connected to the piston rod extension, into the force transmission element in addition to a force of the linear actuator.
Drawback valve systems and methods for coolant drawback
A first electrode coolant path is configured to cool a first welding electrode by liquid coolant flowing from a supply path through the first electrode coolant path to a return path. A second electrode coolant path is configured to cool a second welding electrode by liquid coolant flowing from the supply path through the second electrode coolant path to the return path. Three or more valves are configured to stop or reduce liquid coolant flow through the first or second electrode coolant path and configured to stop or reduce liquid coolant backflow from the return path when the first or second welding electrode is at least partially detached. At least one valve is coupled in the first or second electrode coolant path. A drawback apparatus generates a suction force to draw liquid coolant away from a gap formed when the first or second welding electrode is at least partially detached.
Cap tip detachment device
The present invention relates to a cap tip detachment device capable of detaching cap tips which are fitted at the end of the shanks of a welding device. A pair of nail mounting boards, which mounts a fixed nail, a movable nail, and a slider, which is located between the nail mounting boards, are arranged on a linear rail. The movable nail of the pair of nail mounting boards includes a an arm extending toward an opposite side of a pivot shaft, and a spring that elastically urges the arm in a direction of separating from the nail mounting boards; and a distal end of each arm is abutted against the slider. When a shank is pushed against the fixed nail of one nail mounting board by a robot, the movable nails of both nail mounting boards open allowing the cap tip to be detached.
TIP CHANGER FOR SPOT WELDING MACHINE
A tip changer for a spot welding machine includes a first rotation body that has an opening capable of accommodating a welding tip and is capable of rotating around the opening; a second rotation body that is disposed concentrically with the first rotation body and is rotated relative to the first rotation body; and a plurality of nail pieces that are disposed at equal angular intervals along an imaginary circle of the rotation bodies, are swingably connected to the first rotation body by a first connection mechanism, are swingably connected to the second rotation body by a second connection mechanism on a more radially inner side of the second rotation body than the first connection mechanism, and include contact portions on a more radially inner side of the second rotation body than a second connection mechanism.
SPOT WELDING APPARATUS
A spot welding apparatus includes a stationary frame having a housing formed therein. An upper welding gun is mounted to a length direction of a pressing unit disposed in the housing of the stationary frame. A plurality of lower welding guns are mounted on an outside of the stationary frame and ends of the plurality of lower welding guns selectively face one end of the upper welding gun in a length direction of the lower welding guns by the plurality of lower welding guns. A plurality of actuators are mounted on the outside of the stationary frame. A plurality of link units are disposed between the actuators and the lower welding guns, connect the actuators and the lower welding guns, respectively, and rotate as the actuators are operated.
Apparatus for interchanging welding tips of spot welding gun
The present invention relates to an apparatus for interchanging welding tips of a spot welding gun. According to the present invention, an apparatus for interchanging welding tips of a spot welding gun comprises: a post frame provided with a connection plate on a top surface; a tip-removal means coupled at a predetermined position on one side surface of the post frame; and a tip-setting means coupled to a top surface of the connection plate.
Controlling the flow of coolant to resistance welding electrodes
