The laser processing system comprising a nozzle including an emission opening configured to emit a jet of an assist gas along an optical axis of a laser beam, the nozzle being configured to form a maximum point of velocity of the jet at a position away from the emission opening; a measuring instrument configured to measure a sound generated by the jet impinging on an object; and a position acquisition section configured to acquire information representing the position of the maximum point based on output data of the measuring instrument.
LASER PROCESSING APPARATUS
Disclosed herein is a laser processing apparatus that includes a laser generation unit configured to generate a laser beam to process a workpiece, a first fluid jet generation unit configured to generate and inject a first fluid jet to deliver the laser beam to the workpiece, and a second fluid jet generation unit configured to inject a second fluid jet around the laser beam, wherein the first and second fluid jets are simultaneously or selectively injected.
REGULATING AIR FLOW TO IMPROVE LASER WELD QUALITY
Aspects of the disclosure include air flow systems configured to regulate air flow when laser welding to improve laser weld quality. An exemplary air flow system can include a primary inlet coupled to an air source and one or more secondary inlets coupled to the primary inlet. At least one of the one or more secondary inlets can include an internal valve. Each internal valve is actuatable between a fully open state, a fully closed state, and an intermediate state. The air flow system can further include an outlet coupled to each of the one or more secondary inlets downstream of the internal valve and a controller configured to adjust a position of each internal valve. The controller is configured to adjust the position of each internal valve based on an air flow mapping to increase an average air flow velocity along a laser beam of a welding laser.
Thrombus aspiration with different intensity levels

The woven structure may include patterns of radiopaque filaments measurable under x-ray. Structures may be heat treated to include various shapes at different temperatures. The woven structure may be deployable to implant in a vessel. A catheter may include a hypotube including interspersed patterns of longitudinally spaced rows of kerfs and optionally a balloon. Laser cutting systems may include fluid flow systems.
Aspiration devices and methods
An aspiration system includes a pump and a control system in communication with the pump. The control system includes a microcontroller, an antenna configured to receive a signal, and a pump control board in communication with the microcontroller. The antenna is in communication with the microcontroller. Upon receiving the signal, the pump control board operates the pump to create negative pressure according to the signal.
Liquid cooled plasma arc torch
A plasma arc torch includes a cathode extending along an axis of the torch, a pilot arc conductor, and a nozzle body. A first fluid conduit and second fluid conduit extend parallel to the axis of the torch. A first offset fitting includes a first duct coupled to and in fluid communication with the first fluid conduit, and a second duct in fluid communication with the first duct and outwardly radially offset from the first duct and extending away from the first duct in a proximal direction. A second offset fitting includes a third duct coupled to and in fluid communication with the second fluid conduit, and a fourth duct in fluid communication with the third duct and outwardly radially offset from the third duct and extending away from the third duct in the proximal direction. A spring compression plug electrically connects the pilot arc conductor to the nozzle body.
