The invention further relates a hand-held torch (5) having a holder (10).
LASER TOOL
A laser tool includes a tool body disposed at least partially along a central longitudinal axis, and a head unit connected to the tool body with a rotational joint. The head unit rotates around the central longitudinal axis with the rotational joint, includes a laser head to direct a laser energy toward a target and along a second longitudinal axis of the head unit. A purging nozzle, fluidly connected to a fluid source, includes a nozzle outlet oriented at an angle relative to the second longitudinal axis of the head unit, and directs fluid at an angle into a pathway of the laser energy from the laser head to bias purged material out of the pathway of the laser energy. The rotational joint supports the head unit on the tool body, and moves the head unit in a radial direction relative to the central longitudinal axis.
Movement device, particularly for cutting torches of the plasma type and the like
A movement device, particularly for cutting torches, comprising a working head that can move along three Cartesian axes which are mutually perpendicular and supports a cutting torch for cutting mechanical pieces, elements being further comprised for combined rotary and translational motion of the cutting torch with respect to the working head which comprises a first pinion which is adapted to transmit the motion to a disk-like element supporting an articulated parallelogram structure which in turn supports the cutting torch, and a second pinion which is arranged coaxial to the first pinion and is actuated by further drive elements, the second pinion actuating a conical pair formed by a third and a fourth pinion, the fourth pinion transmitting the motion to mechanical transmission elements which are integral with the articulated parallelogram structure.
Machine tool comprising a punching device and a laser machining device
A machine tool for machining workpieces comprising a support structure, a punching device mounted on the support structure, and a laser machining device mounted on the support structure. The machine tool includes a suspension device provided between the punching device and the laser machining device to reduce the laser machining device from being stimulated to move unintentionally due to the operation of the punching device. The suspension device has a spring rate which can be adjusted by a laser positioning device. The laser positioning device can move the laser machining device relative to the workpiece into a functional position and also into a position remote from the functional position. The spring rate of the suspension device is adjusted such that the functional position of the laser machining device is assigned a higher spring rate than that assigned to the position of the laser machining device remote from the functional position.
Mount for a welding gun for connecting said welding gun to an arm of a welding robot
A mount for connecting a welding gun to a welding robot's arm. An articulated joint is provided between two rigid elements of the mount. The joint includes a sleeve securable to a first element. A first bore is provided on the second element. The sleeve is inserted into the bore. The bore's inner diameter and the sleeve's outer diameter allow the second element to turn with the first bore relative to the sleeve. An expansion element provided in the interior of the sleeve is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the sleeve. The expansion element has a central opening through which a tensioning bolt is passed. The bolt threadably engages a support element causing expansion of the sleeve, thereby causing the sleeve to seize around the circumference thereof in the bore. The expansion and seizing of the sleeve is neutralized by a release and stop.
