The device enables automatic welding of a component with straight shape or arc shape.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ORBITAL WELDING
An orbital welder for welding together two pipes to be welded. The welder includes a fall brake for preventing a freefall of the welder. The welder includes a spatter shield for preventing dust from entering the outer housing and fowling sensitive machine components. The welder includes a torch assembly with manual adjustments. The welder includes an automatic lead/lag adjustment and control of that adjustment during a welding operation to automatically transition from a first weld zone to a second weld zone.
CRAWLING WELDING ROBOT AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A crawling welding robot, including an adjustable magnetic adhesion module, wheel-tracked walking mechanisms, a crawler frame, and a welding load device, wherein the welding load device is disposed on the crawler frame; the wheel-tracked walking mechanisms are disposed at two opposite ends of the crawler frame for supplying power for crawling of the crawler frame; and the adjustable magnetic adhesion module is disposed on the crawler frame and disposed between the two wheel-tracked walking mechanisms.
Axle Welder
The axle welder can be easily configured and adjusted to accommodate axle assemblies of varying axle shaft lengths, hub styles (“straight” and “drop axle”) and lug bolt configurations. The axle welder uses a sliding carriage that slides along the support frame at one end of the welder to accommodate differing shaft lengths. The axle welder also includes a pair of pivoting hub lifts that accommodate both straight and drop axle style axle hubs using modular mounting plates. Modular mounting plates (“hub adaptors”) fitted to the hub lifts accommodate hub assemblies with differing lug bolt patterns. The axle welder is built on a rectangular frame that supports a pair of weld units and articulated electrode arms. The axle welder also includes a pair axle supports for carrying the axle shafts within the support frame. A shaft drive pivotally mounted to the support frame lowers to engage and rotate the axle shaft and hub assemblies in unison during the welding process.
Method of Sensing and Initializing A Zero Height for A Computer-Controlled Cutting Machine
A method of sensing and initializing a zero-height for a computer-controlled cutting machine implements ohmic contact between a tool head of the cutting machine and a work surface of the cutting machine in order to ascertain a zero-height of the tool head before executing a machine control operation, ensuring the tool head is positioned correctly at a predetermined operating height above the work surface throughout the machine control operation. A baseline electrical resistance is tracked across the work surface. A downward movement of the tool head toward the work surface is executed with a gantry-style movement mechanism of the cutting machine. The downward movement is stopped and a current height of the tool head is designated as the zero-height if a change in the baseline electrical resistance is detected. The tool head is electrically isolated in order to facilitate detection of the change in resistance.
Removable welding wire spool arrangement for welding applications
A transportable spool carrier includes a spool hub configured to receive a welding wire spool thereon. A handle is disposed a distance above the spool hub greater than the radial size of the spool hub such that the welding wire spool is transportable via the transportable spool carrier. The handle is vertically aligned with the longitudinal center portion of the spool hub axis to align the handle with a center of gravity of the welding wire spool when the welding wire spool is coupled to the transportable spool carrier. The transportable spool carrier may include two spaced feet configured to support the welding wire spool on a surface when the transportable spool carrier is decoupled from the frame. The spool hub may include an expandable cylinder that, when radially expanded the welding wire spool is locked to the spool hub.
DRAWING DEVICE FOR DRAWING A TOOL
Drawing device for drawing a tool (T), comprising: a support (2), provided with rests (21), structured to be slidably arranged in contact with an inner wall of a tube, and an attachment (22) for a tool (T); a cursor (3), movable along a longitudinal direction (Y) between at least a starting position and a return position; magnetic means (4), predisposed to magnetically constrain the support (2) and the cursor (3) with respect to the displacement along the longitudinal direction (Y).

A portable device for precision plasma and oxy-fuel torch cutting is provided. Versions of an example portable cutting torch tool guide the gun of a cutting torch to make precision linear cuts or curved cuts in a metal workpiece. In an implementation, the device is a gun for a cutting torch, with an integrated rail follower and adjustable vertical and horizontal offsets from a workpiece. The cutting torch tool may use various kinds of rails for stable cuts, with optional movement damping, motorized drive, servos for vertical and horizontal offset, and remote control with user interface.

A voltage sensing wire feeder includes a storage device and a user interface. The user interface is configured to receive a first selection and a second selection. The first selection is configured to direct the voltage sensing wire feeder to use a first group of settings stored in the storage device, and the second selection is configured to direct the voltage sensing wire feeder to use a second group of settings stored in the storage device.
Automatic and manual welding apparatus
An automatic and manual welding apparatus includes an operation changeover switch which is provided to be capable of switching a manual input mode for switching off power supplied to an infeed motor to and from an automatic input mode for applying power supplied to the infeed motor, so as to switch the rotation of the infeed motor automatically and manually. A control unit controls the infeed motor such that the power supplied to the forward and backward transfer motor is switched off when the input of the operation changeover switch is in a manual input mode and the power to the infeed motor is applied when the input of the operation changeover switch is in an automatic input mode.
