ARC-TRACKING WELDING METHOD AND WELDING DEVICE
In an arc-tracking welding method and a welding device of the present invention, a deviation amount between a weaving center and a welding line is obtained based on a first relationship and a second relationship. The first relationship is a relationship between a weaving position and any one element of three electrical first to third elements related to Ohm's law, the relationship being obtained based on a physical model of an arc welding phenomenon and being associated with the deviation amount. The second relationship is a relationship between the weaving position and the element, the relationship being obtained based on the element in welding power.
PORTABLE DEVICE FOR PRECISION PLASMA AND OXY-FUEL TORCH CUTTING
A portable device for precision plasma and oxy-fuel torch cutting is provided. Versions of an example portable cutting torch tool guide the gun of a cutting torch to make precision linear cuts or curved cuts in a metal workpiece. In an implementation, the device is a gun for a cutting torch, with an integrated rail follower and adjustable vertical and horizontal offsets from a workpiece. The cutting torch tool may use various kinds of rails for stable cuts, with optional movement damping, motorized drive, servos for vertical and horizontal offset, and remote control with user interface.
WELDERS' CART AND METHOD
A self-contained track or wheeled welders' cart may be driven at a wheel or set of wheels and/or at a track or set of tracks by hydraulic wheel drive motor(s). The hydraulic wheel/track motor(s) may in turn be driven by high-pressure hydraulic oil provided by an electric-hydraulic pump motor driven by electricity that is generated on the cart by an internal combustion engine. The powered cart may be moved forward and backward via, for example, a radio or other non-wired-signal remote controller in communication with a drive system for the cart's electric-hydraulic driven tracks(s) and/or wheels(s) on the cart. Also, the remote controller may be in communication with a rack and pinion type steering mechanism, for example. Electricity created on the cart may be used also for a portable welding system carried on the cart.
AUTOMATED RIDE-ON STUD WELDER
The automated ride-on stud welder eliminates the fatigue and hazards associated with stud welding by having a motor which powers a hydraulic system and a set of tracks. A seat is coupled to the automated ride-on stud welder and controls are used to direct its movement. A bulk stud storage bin stores various types of studs. These studs are moved into position via a stud track that loads studs into the stud welding system that is attached to the gantry. In addition, there is a stud attachment mechanism for ease of attaching studs to a welding surface.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS PROVIDING DYNAMIC BEAD SPACING AND WEAVE FILL IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
Embodiments of systems and methods of additive manufacturing are disclosed. In one embodiment, a computer control apparatus accesses multiple planned build patterns corresponding to multiple build layers of a three-dimensional (3D) part to be additively manufactured. A metal deposition apparatus deposits metal material to form at least a portion of a build layer of the 3D part. The metal material is deposited as a beaded weave pattern, based on a planned path of a planned build pattern, under control of the computer control apparatus. A weave width, a weave frequency, and a weave dwell of the beaded weave pattern are dynamically adjusted during deposition of the beaded weave pattern. The adjustments are under control of the computer control apparatus based on the planned build pattern, as a width of the build layer varies along a length dimension of the build layer.
Welding assembly for permanent joining of a first tubular component with a second component
The invention relates to a welding assembly for the permanent joining of a first tubular component with a second component along a two- or three-dimensional intersection curve, along which both components contact, comprising a securing assembly for detachably securely joining on a tubular end of the first component facing away from the intersection curve, a manipulator unit mounted directly or indirectly on the securing assembly such that it can pivot about a tube longitudinal axis assigned to the first component. The manipulator unit has a freely positionable manipulator end, with a welding tool attached to the freely positionable manipulator end. The securing assembly comprises a clamping module that can at least partially be introduced into the tubular end of the first component on the end side and in an axial manner. The clamping module is detachably securely to a tube inner wall of the first tubular component, as well as a carrier ring module which is rotatably attached to the clamping module, which axially extends beyond the tubular end of the first tubular component.
Scanning bevels in preparation for welding
A method measures an edge of a workpiece by scanning. The scanning is performed by a scanning tool mounted on a moving head of an edge-facing machine while that moving head is moved along the edge to be measured before, during or after an edge facing tool of the edge-facing machine that faces the edge. The method can be performed by an edge-facing machine that includes at least one edge facing tool and that further includes a scanning tool mounted on a movable head of the machine, which head is movable along an edge of a workpiece.
Compact self-compelled welding station
A self-propelled welding station including a base frame having at least one front wheel and at least two rear drive wheels, provides and independent mobility drive system with a motor and steering means for a seated or standing operator, and a utility drive system providing a self-contained, motorized welder with welding leads for remote welding and a secondary electrical generating system providing a plurality of A/C electrical outlets, an air compressor assembly to provide compressed air to operate air tools and forced air, a plurality of accessory tool and supply storage containers, accessory equipment and a bottled gas system for welding gases, gauges and hoses. The mobility drive system motor is independent from the motorized welder so that the station may be moved whether the motorized welder is on or off, and the motorized welder may be operated with the drive motor system on or off.
Welding equipment for bridges
This invention discloses a welding equipment for bridges, comprising a base, a fixed ring stand arranged on the top end surface of the base, a fixed block fixedly arranged on the bottom end surface of the fixed ring stand, wherein a first guide sliding groove is arranged in the top end surface of the base, a first guide sliding block in sliding fit connection with said first guide sliding groove. A welding ring stand is fixedly connected to the top end surface of said first guide sliding block; wherein a first adjusting threaded rod is in threaded fit connection with the first guide sliding block. A first motor is in power connection with one tail end of the first adjusting threaded rod. The first motor drives the first adjusting threaded rod to rotate to make the welding ring stand move to one side.
