Process for manufacturing a multilayer strip or sheet, comprising the successive steps of: casting a brazing aluminum alloy in the form of a casting slab; sawing the casting slab to obtain sawn brazing alloy layers; bonding a core aluminum alloy layer with at least one sawn brazing aluminum alloy layer to obtain a multilayer assembly; preheating the multilayer assembly; hot-rolling the multilayer assembly to obtain a multilayer strip or sheet, the first hot-rolling pass inducing a reduction in thickness of the multilayer assembly greater than or equal to 0.5% of the thickness of the multilayer assembly before said hot-rolling pass.

HEAT EXCHANGER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HEAT EXCHANGER

Mg and Bi are contained in each of a first fillet in a first braze joining portion in which a tube and a fin join, a second fillet in a second braze joining portion in which the tube and a header plate join, and a third fillet in a third braze joining portion in which the header plate and a tank body join. A concentration of Mg of each of the first to third fillets is from 0.2% or more to 2.0% or less by mass. When the tube includes a brazing material layer, a concentration of Mg of the tube at its plate thickness center is from 0.1% or more to 1.0% or less by mass. When the fin includes a brazing material layer, a concentration of Mg of the fin at its plate thickness center is from 0.2% or more to 1.0% or less by mass.

The present invention provides a heat transfer equipment at rapid rate of thermal diffusion across the temperature gradient. The present invention further provides a method of manufacturing of a heat transfer equipment. The various embodiments of the present invention provide various methods for manufacturing of heat transfer equipment by affixing the loop or a solid member (201) containing crests and troughs on the surface of the central hollow member (101) by use of laser weld (301). The invention would provide much higher strength to the equipment and have much higher temperature sensitivity.

Brazing material

A brazing material for brazing a brazed plate heat exchanger comprising a number of heat exchanger plates being provided with a pressed pattern of ridges and grooves adapted to provide contact points between neighbouring heat exchanger plates, such that the heat exchanger plates are kept on a distance from one another and such that interplate flow channels for media to exchange heat are formed between the heat exchanger plates comprises a brazing alloy comprising at least one melting point depressing element and metals resembling the composition of the heat exchanger plates. The brazing material comprises a mixture between grains of a melting brazing material having solidus and liquidus temperatures lower than a brazing temperature and a non-melting brazing material having solidus and liquidus temperatures above the brazing temperature. The ratio between the melting and non-melting brazing materials is such that an alloy formed by the melting and non-melting brazing materials has a solidus temperature lower than the brazing temperature and a liquidus temperature higher than the brazing temperature.

Aluminum material for fluxfree CAB brazing

An aluminum alloy brazing sheet has a 3XXX, 1XXX or 6XXX core, an interliner and a 4XXX brazing layer without added Mg. The interliner has Bi and Mg, the magnesium migrating to the surface of the brazing sheet during brazing and reducing the aluminum oxide to facilitate brazing without flux in a controlled inert atmosphere with reduced oxygen.

ALUMINUM ALLOY BRAZING SHEET AND BRAZING METHOD FOR ALUMINUM ALLOY BRAZING SHEET

An aluminum alloy brazing sheet including a core material and a brazing material provided on at least one surface of the core material. The brazing material includes 5.0-9.0 mass % Si, 0.10-0.90 mass % Mg, and 0.05-0.60 mass % Bi, and further includes at least one of 0.80 mass % or less Mn and 0.60 mass % or less Ti, with the remainder being Al and inevitable impurities.

A method of making a heat exchanger that includes sealing tubes to header slots and brazing the tubes to the header slots. The method further includes coupling a cover to the header to cover a liquid-side surface of the header and to cover ends of the tubes, and applying flux to an air-side surface of the header and to the tubes. Coupling the cover to the header is performed after sealing the tubes to the header slots and coupling the cover to the header is performed before applying flux to the air-side surface of the header and to the tubes. Applying flux is performed before brazing each of the tubes to the header slots and sealing each of the tubes to the header slot includes sealing a perimeter of each of the tubes to the header slot.

Braze gap control tool system

A tool system controls and prevents gaps during processing of assemblies at elevated temperature. Gaps are prevented from arising at joints between components during temperature changes. The tool system includes a lever arm having a body, a connection configured to allow the body to pivot, a cam surface defined by the body and configured to engage the second component, and a weight arm extending from the body and over the second component. In response to movement of the second component, the lever arm is configured to pivot at the connection while the weight arm is configured to generate a force transferred through the body to the second component to maintain contact at the joint between the first component and the second component. A rod may be connected with the lever arm for added weight.

SCREEN TO BE USED DURING BRAZING OF HEAT EXCHANGER AND BRAZING METHOD FOR HEAT EXCHANGER
