PROCESSING METHOD OF WORKPIECE
A processing method of a workpiece includes an integration step of heating and compression bonding a thermocompression bonding sheet to an annular frame that has an opening to receive the workpiece therein and to the workpiece received in the opening, whereby the annular frame and the workpiece are integrated via the thermocompression bonding sheet, and a processing step of processing the workpiece integrated with the annular frame via the thermocompression bonding sheet. In the integration step, the thermocompression bonding sheet is pressed against the annular frame that has been heated by a heat table with a heat source included therein, by a heat roller with a heat source included therein while being heated by the heat roller, whereby the thermocompression bonding sheet is fixed to the annular frame.
Acupuncture needle packaging method and acupuncture needle
A method of acupuncture needle packaging includes inserting an acupuncture needle body of an acupuncture needle including an acupuncture needle handle at an upper portion thereof into an acupuncture needle tube starting from the acupuncture needle handle; disposing the acupuncture needle in the acupuncture needle tube in a state in which the upper portion of the acupuncture needle handle is exposed to an exterior of the acupuncture needle tube; ascending the upper portion of the acupuncture needle handle exposed to the exterior using a pressing jig; irradiating a laser to an area where the acupuncture needle tube and the acupuncture needle handle abut each other; and coupling the acupuncture needle handle and the acupuncture needle tube by thermally deforming the area where the acupuncture needle tube and the acupuncture needle handle abut each other with a heat generated by the laser.
MICROPATTERNING METHOD, MICROPATTERNING APPARATUS AND MICROPATTERNING CHIP FOR SILICONE-BASED ELASTOMER
The present disclosure relates to a method for micropatterning on silicone-based elastomer, the method including forming an initiator at a position of the silicone-based elastomer having high optical transmittance and transparency, and moving a laser beam to induce chain pyrolysis, thereby forming micropatterns with high quality in a very short time.
ENDOSCOPIC BENDABLE TUBE, ENDOSCOPE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ENDOSCOPIC BENDABLE TUBE
An endoscopic bendable tube includes: an integrally formed resin tube; at least two wires embedded in a tube wall of the resin tube from a proximal end side to a distal end side of the resin tube, the at least two wires being parallel to a tube axis direction of the resin tube and being at positions facing each other; and a plurality of pairs of through slits formed in the tube wall of the resin tube in the tube axis direction, each pair of through slits being formed facing each other in the tube wall of the resin tube.
Laser Printing of Solder Pastes
A method for fabrication includes providing a donor sheet, including a donor substrate, which is transparent in a specified spectral range, a sacrificial layer, which absorbs optical radiation within the specified spectral range and is disposed over the donor substrate, and a donor film, which includes a paste and is disposed over the sacrificial layer. The donor sheet is positioned so that the donor film is in proximity to a target location on an acceptor substrate. A pulsed laser beam impinges on the sacrificial layer with a pulse energy and spot size selected so as to ablate the sacrificial layer, thus causing a viscoelastic jet of the paste to be ejected from the donor film and to deposit, at the target location on the acceptor substrate, a dot having a diameter less than the spot size of the laser beam.
RESISTANCE WELDING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A resistance welding apparatus can employ a modular power supply system with multiple power supply modules and leads for electrically connecting the modular power supply system to a welding resistor. The resistance welding apparatus is selectively configurable in at least three of (i) a first configuration in which the leads connect the first power supply module to the resistor and the second power supply module is disconnected from the resistor; (ii) a second configuration in which the leads connect the second power supply module to the resistor and the first power supply module is disconnected from the resistor; (iii) a third configuration in which the leads connect the first and second power supply modules to the resistor in series; and (iv) a fourth configuration in which the leads connect the first and second power supply modules to the resistor in parallel.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PHOTOPATTERNING AND MINIATURIZATION
Methods and systems for photopatterning and miniaturization. In some examples, a method for patterning a substrate includes irradiating a pattern onto the substrate with ultraviolet light and heating the substrate, causing the substrate and the pattern to shrink in at least one dimension to form a miniaturized pattern on the substrate. In some examples, a system for patterning a substrate includes an ultraviolet light source, a heater, and a controller configured for irradiating a pattern onto the substrate with ultraviolet light and heating the substrate, causing the substrate and the pattern to shrink in at least one dimension to form a miniaturized pattern on the substrate.
PLASTIC LASER WELDING FOR STEERABLE CATHETER TIP
The present disclosure relates to methods of manufacture, apparatus, and fixtures. An apparatus comprising an inner liner having a hollow chamber extending the length of the inner liner, at least two guide rings disposed collectively along the inner liner, and at least one lumen portion extending through each of the at least two guide rings and being parallel with the hollow chamber, wherein the at least two components are fixed by welding is provided. Further provided is a fixture and a method of manufacture.
PIPE FITTING INCORPORATING A SPHERICAL SPIN WELD
A two-piece connection between a supply pipe from a source of water and a connection to a fire sprinkler with the connector having a first or rear section entirely above a ceiling and a second or front section connected to the first section with the connection entirely above a ceiling and the forward portion of second section connected to the fire sprinkler. The first connector section, located entirely above a ceiling, has a spherical male sidewall with a rounded leading edge and a rear portion of the second connector section has a spherical female interior surface.
Coating removal devices and methods for removing coatings from sheets of glass, preferably laminated sheets of glass
A decoating method for the edge decoating of glass sheets, the glass sheets having at least on one of their two glass surfaces a protective coating in the form of a peel-off protective film or in the form of a polymer protective layer that cannot be peeled off, and preferably having a functional coating situated under the protective coating, the protective film being partially mechanically removed, in particular ground away, for the edge decoating, in the form of at least one film strip, laser traces being introduced into the protective film before the mechanical removal of the film strip, and the laser traces being introduced in such a way that the film strip is removed in the form of individual film strip partial pieces separated from one another by the laser traces; or the polymer protective layer being removed using laser radiation.
