An apparatus for installing a fastener includes a structure having an entry and an exit for the fastener. The structure further defines a channel having a passage, a chute for receiving the fastener, and a chamber between the chute and the passage. A feeder is operably coupled with the chute and configured to provide the fastener at the entry. A first actuator is operably coupled with the structure and configured to move the fastener through the chamber. A second actuator is operably coupled with the housing and configured to move the fastener through the passage to the exit.

Methods and devices are disclosed for a fabrication layout device and assembly table. The device includes a table with a work surface. The work surface being a continuous surface and configured to support a plurality of railing pieces for fabrication of a railing assembly. The device further includes a beam located above the work surface. The beam is operatively coupled to the table, such that the beam moves relative to the work surface in a first direction. Attached to the beam is an ink dispenser. The ink dispenser is configured to move along the beam in a second direction different from the first direction. The ink dispenser is further configured to dispense ink onto the work surface of the table in the form of a pattern of the railing assembly. Railing pieces can be positioned on the pattern so that they can be assembled to one another.

A hardware automatic fastening apparatus includes a magazine having a lever formed on an outer edge to store and supply hardware including any one or more types of a bolt, a nut, and a clip, a rotating part coupled to the magazine to rotate the magazine to position the hardware at a predetermined position, and a torque generating tool provided with an ascending and descending mechanism for ascending the hardware positioned by the rotating part upon ascending, and provided with a torque applying part for applying a torque to the ascended hardware, and the lever has a latch structure.

A bolt feeder includes: a rotating plate (12) arranged adjacent to a hopper (27) storing bolts (10); one or more magnets (15) to attract the bolts (10), from a back surface of the rotating plate (12), onto a front surface of the rotating plate (12); a selection block (13) having a gap space (13a) through which one bolt in a predetermined orientation out of the bolts (10) attracted by the one or more magnets (15) is allowed to pass; a motor (26) to cause the one or more magnets (15) to rotate and move from the hopper (27) toward the selection block (13); and a guide plate (29) extending upstream in a moving direction of the one or more magnets (15) from an entrance of the gap space (13a), and guiding the bolts (10) attracted by the one or more magnets (15) to the gap space (13a).

There is provided an automated fastener system having an automated washer installation. The automated fastener system includes an automated washer feed system holding and dispensing one or more washers, and providing a selected washer for the automated washer installation. The automated fastener system further includes an automated fastener holder assembly holding and dispensing one or more fasteners, and providing a selected fastener for the automated washer installation; an automated shuttle assembly; an automated inspection system; an automated delivery system; an automated installation system; and a control system. The automated washer installation is performed at one or more of, before inspection of the selected fastener, after inspection of the selected fastener, or after delivery of the selected fastener and the selected washer by the automated delivery system to the automated installation system.

There is provided an automated fastener system having an automated washer installation. The automated fastener system includes an automated washer feed system holding and dispensing one or more washers, and providing a selected washer for the automated washer installation. The automated fastener system further includes an automated fastener holder assembly holding and dispensing one or more fasteners, and providing a selected fastener for the automated washer installation; an automated shuttle assembly; an automated inspection system; an automated delivery system; an automated installation system; and a control system. The automated washer installation is performed at one or more of, before inspection of the selected fastener, after inspection of the selected fastener, or after delivery of the selected fastener and the selected washer by the automated delivery system to the automated installation system.

An article loading method includes a first transfer step of picking up at least some of a plurality of articles accommodated in a storage member and transferring the articles to an upper portion of a plate, a dropping step of dropping the plurality of articles, which is transferred to the upper portion of the plate in the first transfer step, onto the plate, a second transfer step of picking up some of the articles, which are dropped onto the plate in the dropping step, and transferring the articles to an alignment unit, and a loading step of transferring the article, which is transferred to the alignment unit in the second transfer step, and loading the article to one side, in which the article is freely dropped toward the plate in the dropping step.
