System for removing and replacing fire-tubes
A system for removing and replacing fire-tubes. The system can include a powered system, a fire-tube puller coupled to said powered system. The fire-tube puller has a puller back which is coupled to a plug rest. A plug rest is approximately perpendicular to the puller back, and the fire-tube will rest upon the plug rest when the fire-tube is being removed or installed. The system can also include a stack adjuster which is coupled to the plug rest. The stack adjuster can couple to a stack so as to reposition the stack.
Device for handling a shaft forming a pivoting link between at least two parts
A device for handling a shaft forming a pivoting link between two parts, including a body configured to be inserted into the shaft, and blocked in translation with respect to the shaft along a longitudinal axis in a first direction, a compression nut screwed onto a threaded outer portion of the body along the axis in a second direction opposite the first direction, a bearing member positioned against one of the parts, and a return member configured to be compressed between the compression nut and the bearing member by the screwing of the compression nut and to be decompressed in the second direction under the action of the compression nut. This device allows the shaft of the pivoting link to be handled rapidly, and makes it possible to control the load applied onto the shaft during the handling thereof.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVING AND REPLACING FIRE-TUBES
A system and method for removing and replacing fire-tubes.
Device and Method for Broken Extractor Removal
A device and method of extracting a broken extractor are provided. The fastener extractor includes a shaft with a pre-formed center hole situated longitudinally and interiorly in the fastener extractor. An extractor removal tool is provided that is pre-formed to engage the pre-formed center hole in the extractor for removing a broken extractor and debri.
DEVICE FOR JOINTING A PLURALITY OF ELEMENTS ON A SHAFT
A device for jointing a plurality of elements, each comprising a cutout for a shaft, in a predetermined angular position on the shaft, may include a traversable guide carriage configured to push the shaft from above through the cutouts of the elements. The device may also include an electrical spindle drive and a pneumatic piston for displacing the traversable guide carriage.
Apparatus for the assembly and disassembly of hydraulic cylinders
The invention relates to an apparatus for the assembly and disassembly of hydraulic cylinders, composed of a pedestal-like machine frame having horizontally arranged guide means which bear, in displaceable manner, a receptacle for the cylinder barrel of the hydraulic cylinder, at least one receptacle for a support and a receptacle for a tool, and furthermore having a holder for fixing the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder. According to the invention, the holder for fixing the piston rod has a centering carriage which is driven by a centering spindle and which comprises a piston rod receptacle, wherein the holder is designed to be rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the machine frame and the rotational movement is realized by means of a torque-controlled electromotive drive.
Rod pulling device.
A rod pulling device for pulling a rod anchored in surrounding material, the rod pulling device comprising: a substantially elongated device body; a carriage movable along the device body; an actuator operatively coupled to the carriage for selectively moving the carriage along the device body; and a gripping assembly mounted to the carriage for selectively gripping the rod; wherein the gripping assembly includes a pair of jaws each defining a respective gripping surface for gripping the rod, the gripping surfaces facing each other and defining a gap therebetween for receiving the rod, the jaws being movable between open and closed configurations, the gap being narrower in the closed configuration than in the open configuration; and a clutch operative for decoupling the carriage from the actuator so that the carriage is prevented from moving further than a predetermined location along the device body while the actuator remains activated.
