HYDRAULIC JACK ASSEMBLY AND PIN PULLER ASSEMBLY
A cylinder assembly having a housing, a pump supported within the housing, a motor supported within the housing and operable to power the pump, and a power source supported by the housing and operable to supply power to the motor. A cylinder has a first end, an opposite second end, and a sidewall extending therebetween. A piston is movably supported by the cylinder, the pump being operable to supply hydraulic fluid to the cylinder to move the piston relative to the cylinder at least from a retracted position to an advanced position. A frame is coupled to the sidewall of the cylinder and supporting the pump and the motor.
PRESS-FIT COMPONENTS DISASSEMBLY TOOLING AND PROCESS
A tool and an associated process for removing a press-fit component from an associated engine component, wherein the engine component is pushed in a first axial direction while the press-fit component is restrained from axially moving in the first axial direction.
Rotating machine coupling hub pulling device
An assembly for separating a coupling hub from a shaft of a rotating machine includes a support frame sub-assembly that structurally supports the assembly and the coupling hub. A vertical adjustment sub-assembly is structurally supported by the support frame sub-assembly. The vertical adjustment sub-assembly adjusts the elevation of a puller sub-assembly from the surface of the Earth. The puller sub-assembly couples to the coupling hub and separates the coupling hub from the shaft.
Hydraulic extrusion tool with integrated induction device
The present invention relates to a hydraulic extrusion tool for extruding a rotor shaft for a turbomachine, and a corresponding method. The turbomachine has a structure that is fastened to the rotor shaft by a press fit. The extrusion tool has a first tool part that is configured for the purpose of being arranged on a first side of the structure, and which has a coupling mechanism that is configured for the purpose of coupling the first tool part to the structure, in such a way that the first tool part and the structure cannot move away from each other, at least in one direction along an axis of the rotor shaft; and an induction device that is configured for the purpose of heating the structure by induction in the region of the press fit.
Arm Removal System
An arm removal system for removing an arm. The system includes an anvil, and a removal assembly with at least two jackscrews. The arm has an extension radially extending from the arm and an arm outer surface. The arm is disposed within a wedge shaped collet that is disposed within a socket in an aircraft with an aircraft outer surface. The removal assembly includes an extension engaging surface and threaded jackscrew holes for accepting the jackscrews, such that when the jackscrews are tightened within the jackscrew holes, the jackscrews apply force on the anvil and the aircraft outer surface in the direction away from the removal assembly such that the arm is eventually removed entirely from the aircraft.
Roll body for a hydrostatic rolling tool and hydrostatic rolling tool with the roll body
A roll body for a hydrostatic rolling tool includes a center, an axis of rotation running through the center, and a machining zone for rolling a workpiece. The roll body is rotatable about the axis of rotation and the machining zone has a working profile line formed in a cross-section of the roll body. The working profile line has a first working arc extending around a first machining center and a second working arc extending around a second machining center. The first machining center is arranged offset to the center, and the second machining center is arranged offset to the center and offset to the first machining center. In an example embodiment, the roll body has a parallel to the axis of rotation, the first machining center lies in the cross-section on the parallel, and the second machining center lies in the cross-section on the parallel.
Tool and method for removal of variable stator vane bushing
A tool for removal of a bushing (such as a bushing of a variable stator vane assembly of a compressor) is provided. The tool includes a cylindrical housing, a lead screw, a threaded nut, and a pulling module with puller arms to engage the bushing. The housing defines a longitudinal axis along which the lead screw extends. The lead screw is rotatably secured within the cylindrical housing by a threaded nut engaged with the lead screw. The pulling module is removably attached to the threaded nut, such that the lead screw passes through the threaded nut before passing through the pulling module. The pulling module is provided with a pair of oppositely disposed puller arms, and each puller arm is provided with a hook portion having an engagement tab configured to engage a respective notch on the bushing. A method of removing the bushing using the tool is also disclosed.
JOINT DISMOUNTING TOOL
A joint dismounting tool is provided, including a frame body and a pulling assembly. The frame body includes a base portion and two arm portions, and the two arm portions are disposed on the base portion. The pulling assembly includes a driving rod and a cup member, the driving rod is movably disposed on the base portion, the cup member is connected to the driving rod and swingable relative to the axis, and the cup member is between the two arm portions.
Extraction process of a glow plug pencil for a motor vehicle and the tooling set for the implementation of such a process
The invention involves the extraction process of a glow plug pencil (23) or a broken pencil (23) which is stuck in a cylinder head (13) housing (11) of a glow plug engine comprising a lower (19) and upper (17) part, so that the upper part (17) forms a shoulder (21) with the lower part (19), the pencil (23) being stuck in the lower part (19). The process is remarkable in that it includes a step (a) for drilling a bore in the pencil (23) according to the longitudinal direction of the latter which is performed with the use of a drill bit (1) comprising a drilling part (5) with flutes (7) and a shank (3) respectively having a diameter smaller and greater than the lower part diameter (19) of the housing (11) so that the shank (3) forms a shoulder (9) with the drilling part (5), and in that step a) for drilling the bore includes the drilling of the pencil (23) until the said shoulder (9) of the drill bit (1) is positioned to a stop against the shoulder (21) of the housing (11).
