METHOD FOR CHARGING A PROCESSING DEVICE WITH A PROFILE STRAND TO BE FED TO THE PROCESSING DEVICE
A method for charging a processing device with a profile strand which is to be fed to the processing device. The processing device, by severing strand portions and connecting the strand portions to a vehicle body, processes to form seals or edge protection strips on the vehicle body. The profile strand is fed in the strand longitudinal direction from a delivery unit used to transport the profile strand to the processing location while being unwound from a winding contained in the delivery unit. The profile strand is either unwound as a right-hand profile, which is to be applied to the vehicle body on the right, beginning with one of the two strand ends, or as a left-hand profile, which is to be applied to the vehicle body on the left, beginning with the other strand end. A delivery unit and a winding holder are provided for carrying out the method.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR TREATING ANEURYSMS
Occlusive devices and associated methods of manufacturing are disclosed herein. Manufacturing an occlusive device can include conforming a mesh to a forming assembly and setting a shape of the mesh based on the forming assembly. In some embodiments, the forming assembly comprises multiple forming members, a mandrel, and/or one or more coupling elements. The method may include everting the mesh over the forming assembly such that the mesh encloses an open volume with a shape based, at least in part, on the shape of the forming assembly. According to some embodiments, setting a shape of the mesh comprises heat-treating the mesh and forming assembly.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR TREATMENT OF INTRACRANIAL ANEURYSMS
Systems and methods for treating an aneurysm in accordance with embodiments of the present technology include intravascularly delivering an occlusive member to an aneurysm cavity and deforming a shape of the occlusive member via introduction of an embolic element to a space between the occlusive member and an inner surface of the aneurysm wall.
System and method for installing seals on support frames
The present invention is directed to a system and method for installing seals on support frames. The system comprises, generally, a seal supply system, a guiding mechanism and a sealing mechanism. The supply system comprises two bobbins around which are disposed the sealing elements. The guiding mechanism comprises a plurality of guiding drive wheels adapted to guide the support frames towards the sealing mechanism which is adapted to seal the sealing element to the support frame. The sealing mechanism is adapted to exert continuously a constant pressure on the sealing element allowing it to fit to the correspondent support frame once being introduced to the sealing mechanism.
Installation tool
An installation tool for installing a seal includes a shaft and a seal-engaging component coupled with the shaft. During an installation of the seal, the seal-engaging component is adapted to couple with the seal. The seal-engaging component includes a first surface and a second surface. The seal-engaging component also includes a first annular ring extending from the first surface and adapted to engage with the seal for coupling the seal with the seal-engaging component. The seal-engaging component further includes a second annular ring extending from the first surface. The installation tool also includes a sliding hammer adapted to slide along a length of the shaft. During the installation of the seal, the sliding hammer is adapted to apply a force to the seal-engaging component for installing the seal at a seal installation location.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING ANEURYSMS
Treatment of aneurysms can be improved by delivering an occlusive member (e.g., an expandable braid) to an aneurysm sac in conjunction with an embolic element (e.g., coils, embolic material). A treatment system for such treatment can include an electrolytically corrodible conduit having a proximal portion, a distal portion, and a detachment zone between the proximal portion and the distal portion. An occlusive member having a proximal hub is coupled to the conduit distal portion. The conduit has a lumen configured to pass an embolic element therethrough.
Device for applying a rubber profile
A device for applying a rubber profile to a surface comprises a robot arm moving and guiding a guide head into a position to apply the rubber profile along a defined contour on the surface. A feed device connected to the guide head feeds the rubber profile onto the surface at a defined speed. A guide element on the guide head guides the rubber profile. The feed device includes a motorized drive roller, with a profiled circumferential surface, and a counter-element with a passage for the rubber profile formed between the drive roller and the counter-element, such that the profiled circumferential surface engages the rubber profile A control unit detects the speed of the guide head where the rubber profile is applied to the surface and controls a drive roller such that the rubber profile is advanced on the basis of this speed.

Treatment of aneurysms can be improved by delivering an occlusive member (e.g., an expandable braid) to an aneurysm sac in conjunction with an embolic element (e.g., coils, embolic material). A treatment system for such treatment can include an electrolytically corrodible core wire having a proximal portion, a distal portion, and a detachment zone between the proximal portion and the distal portion. An occlusive member having a proximal hub is coupled to the core wire distal portion. A conduit extends along at least a portion of the core wire. The conduit has a lumen configured to pass an embolic element therethrough.
