WHEEL NUT ENGAGEMENT CHECKING SYSTEM AND CHECKING METHOD
A wheel nut engagement checking system for a vehicle delivered by a conveyor includes: a moving member disposed at one side of the conveyor; a wheel lifting apparatus disposed on the moving member, and lifting a wheel of the vehicle from the conveyor to a predetermined height; a wheel nut torque checking apparatus provided on an arm of a robot disposed on the moving member, engaging a nut runner to a wheel nut of the wheel, and checking an engage torque of the wheel nut by rotating the nut runner; and a controller controlling a speed of the moving member, lifting the wheel to the predetermined height using the wheel lifting apparatus, moving the wheel nut torque checking apparatus using the robot so as to engage the nut runner to the wheel nut, and detecting an engage torque of the wheel nut by rotating the nut runner.
STUFFING BOX LOOSENING DEVICE AND METHOD
A stuffing box loosening device for loosening a locking collar securing a stuffing box to a well head. The device includes a rotatable clamping tool having a clamp securable to an external surface of the locking collar. The clamp prevents relative rotational movement between itself and the locking collar. A force-receiving body extends away from the clamp. A main frame has a mounting portion securable to the well head, and the mounting portion prevents relative rotational movement between the main frame and the well head. A force-supporting body is attached to the mounting portion. An actuator is mounted to the force-supporting body and in operation extends to displace a second end to engage the force-receiving body of the clamping tool and apply a force thereto. The force rotates the clamp to loosen the locking collar.
Device for interlocking and/or frictional connection, and method
An apparatus for connecting a workpiece to a connection element in a form-fit and/or force-fit manner includes a robot for positioning the workpiece, a spindle for connecting the connection element to the workpiece, and a first support to stabilize the workpiece as the connection element is connected to the workpiece. The first support has a contact region substantially in alignment with a spindle longitudinal axis and in contact with the workpiece during connection of the connection element to the workpiece. The contact region has a size which is smaller than 0.01 m.sup.2. A second support to stabilize the workpiece as the connection element is connected to the workpiece has a support surface which in a state in which the workpiece is supported in a substantially orthogonal axis relative to the longitudinal axis of the spindle is disposed in a different plane than a support surface of the first support.
POWER TOOL WITH POSITION CONTROL
A repositionable power wrench includes a housing, a motor arranged inside the housing, and an output shaft, which is rotationally connected to the motor and telescopically arranged with respect to the housing to allow axial movement of the output shaft with respect to the housing between a fully extended position (E.sub.max) and a fully compressed position, with a resilient member being arranged to urge the output shaft towards the fully extended position (E.sub.max). The power wrench also includes or is connectable to a positioning system arranged to monitor a position of the power wrench. The output shaft includes an output end arranged to interact with a fastener. A sensor is arranged to monitor a level of extension (E) of the output shaft with respect to the housing, such that the position of the output end of the output shaft may be determined.

Automatic nut screwing device
An automatic nut screwing device includes a positioning mold plate, a screw shaft, driving gear elements having driving gears, and transmission screwing elements having transmission screw gear units, bolt heads and bolt bodies. The transmission screw gear unit engages an upper out surface of the bolt head. The bolt head of each transmission screw element is fixed with the positioning mold plate. The shaft engaging portion engages with the transmission screw gear unit. The transmission screw gear unit engages with the driving gears such that the transmission screw gear unit is driven to rotate by the shaft engaging portion. A nut socket placing element has nut sockets when the screw shaft is axially rotated to enable the shaft engaging portion of the screw shaft to drive the transmission screw elements, thereby successively rotating elements that result in screw body being rotated to screw with the nut.
Screw guide device and screw-fastening robot system
A screw fastening process can be performed by reliably positioning a screw in a screw hole while suppressing a decrease in the degree of freedom of movement of a screw fastening device. Provided is a screw guide device that guides a screw to a screw hole. The screw is fastened by a screw fastening device to the screw hole formed in a workpiece to be fastened to be fastened. The screw guide device includes a guide device body provided at a support that supports the workpiece to be fastened, and also includes a guide member that is provided in the guide device body and that is openable and closable in a radial direction orthogonal to a central axis of a shaft section of the screw. The guide member forms a screw insert through which the shaft section is inserted when the guide member is in a closed state.

Threaded insert removal tool with torque multiplier
A method and device for rotational disconnection a nozzle from a valve body, to include transferring torque applied to an input adapter, through a gear system, to a rotational, self-centering chuck, with a plurality of jaws to secure a nozzle threadedly secured within a valve body, and an anchor tower extending from the base of the tool in the same direction as the tool that is positioned for nozzle release, so that the anchor tower may provide rotational fixation of the valve body while torque is applied to the nozzle, along with a manner to employ coordinatedly sized and positioned gears, which in combination multiply the leverage force or torque input into the tool for application to the rotational disconnection effort.
VEHICLE ASSEMBLY TOOL
A vehicle assembly tool includes a tooling framework, vehicle control arm caster and camber setting tool, nut runners, and half shaft pressing tool.
