A control unit is also included which is configured to trigger at least one function of the machine tool or of the external device by actuating the at least one actuator and/or to trigger at least one function of the external device as a function of a signal from the at least one sensor.

Machines, such as assembly and/or processing machines are disclosed. The machine may include a working chamber for assembling and/or processing of a component and a transport device configured to transport the component into the working chamber. A moveable housing may be configured to temporarily shield the working chamber during the assembly and/or processing of the component in the working chamber. The housing may include a viewing window which, when the housing is closed, allows observation of the assembly and/or processing of the component in the working chamber. An operating and display unit may be arranged on a movable part of the housing and is movable together therewith.

A machine tool is configured so that a working area in which a workpiece is worked using a tool can be monitored, and includes a cover that is provided to cover the working area, and isolates the inside of the machine tool that includes the working area from the outside, at least one camera that is provided to the inner side of the cover, and captures the inside of the machine tool, and a touch panel that is provided to the cover, wherein the touch panel includes a display panel and an input operation panel, and the display panel displays an image of the inside of the machine tool that has been captured by the at least one camera.
Machine tool having function of monitoring sealing of control panel
A machine tool has the function of monitoring the sealing performance of a control panel. The machine tool measures temperature and humidity inside the control panel, calculates a vapor amount from the measured results, and stores the vapor amount. A vapor amount change ratio is calculated based on a currently calculated vapor amount and a previously calculated and stored vapor amount. An alert is announced when the calculated vapor amount change ratio is greater than or equal to a specific value.
MANUAL PULSE GENERATING DEVICE
A manual pulse generating device includes a rotatable dial, a pulse generating unit configured to generate drive pulses for commanding axial movement in accordance with an amount of rotation of the dial, an enable switch configured to switch between enablement and disablement of axial movement in accordance with the drive pulses, and a casing having the dial and the enable switch disposed on a surface thereof, and accommodating the pulse generating unit in the interior thereof. The dial is mounted on one end side in a longitudinal direction of the casing, and on a front surface of the casing, and the enable switch is mounted on another end side, i.e., a side in the positive X direction, in the longitudinal direction of the casing, and on the front surface of the casing, or on a side surface of the casing that extends along a lateral direction of the casing.
MANUAL PULSE GENERATING DEVICE
A manual pulse generating device is equipped with a rotatable dial, a pulse generating unit configured to generate drive pulses for commanding axial movement of a machine tool in accordance with an amount of rotation of the dial, and a casing having the dial disposed on a surface of the casing and accommodating the pulse generating unit in the interior thereof. When the dial is pressed toward the casing, the pulse generating unit enables the axial movement in accordance with the drive pulses.

A controller of a cutting device includes a first reference point detection processor detecting an actual position of a first reference point on a top surface of a first protrusion of a magazine, a second reference point detection processor detecting an actual position of a second reference point on a top surface of the second protrusion of the magazine, a sensor offset calculation processor calculating an offset of an actual position of a tool sensor of the magazine with respect to a designed position of the tool sensor based on the first reference point and the second reference point, a stocker offset calculation processor calculating an offset of an actual position of the stocker of the magazine with respect to a designed position of the stocker based on the first reference point and the second reference point, and a movement control processor controlling a movement mechanism based on the offset of the tool sensor and the offset of the stocker.
