The machine entry door is provided in the main body cover. The internal machine cover is connected to the machine entry door. The internal entrance area is defined by the machine entry door and the internal machine cover. The machine entry door and the internal machine cover are constructed to sweep the internal entrance area.

The first arm section 30 includes a plurality of linear sections 130, 132, 134, 136 angled with respect to each other. The first arm section 30 has a first downward vertical taper in height from a proximal end 33 to the distal end 35 of the first arm section. The first arm section also has a second downward vertical taper in height from an innermost side 110 of the first arm section to an outermost side 114 of the first arm section 30.

A trajectory display device, by which an operator can visually and easily compare actual trajectories of a motor end and a machine end, and can easily determine a reason for deviation between the trajectories. The device has a motor-side position obtaining part which obtains positional information of a motor at predetermined sampling periods of time; a motor end actual coordinate calculating part which calculates an actual coordinate value of the motor end based on mechanical information and the positional information of the motor; a machine end data obtaining part which obtains point sequence data on an actual trajectory of the machine end; and a displaying part which displays and overlaps the actual coordinate of the motor end and the point sequence data of the machine end, as actual trajectories of the motor end and the machine end, so that central coordinates of the trajectories coincide with each other.

Apparatus and control for modular manufacturing system

A modular manufacturing system uses a universal base and power infrastructure to receive a variety of tooling plates. This is accomplished by the creation of a modular service interface for simultaneous connection of electrical and fluid power from the base to the tooling plate. In addition, a sensing system is used to automatically identify the specific tool set, and to distinguish between a single plate tool set and a double plate tool set. Individual tool sets are located with certainty through the use of physical placement guide rollers, stops, and friction fit. A PLC manages the power, tool set identification and user interface.

DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, MACHINE TOOL, AND DISPLAY CONTROL PROGRAM

A display control device includes: a display control unit that controls display of a setup screen including a menu display part displaying, in a selectable manner, a plurality of measurements including tool measurement and workpiece measurement and a detail display part displaying an operation screen for each of the measurements. An operation screen associated with each measurement is a screen that displays a plurality of visible images each representing a measurement operation and receives selection of a measurement operation that is selected by selecting one of the visible images. While the setup screen is displayed, the display control unit maintains display of a plurality of measurements on the menu display part and switches display on the detail display part in response to an operation input by an operator.
