FOLDING DEVICE FOR MILLING MACHINE
A folding device for a milling machine includes a base having a workbench formed on top thereof, and two support parts are respectively located on two sides of the workbench so as to be connected to two support boards respectively. A pivot and a fixing bolt extend through the contact face and are fixed to the support part. A driving unit includes a transverse rail and a transverse shaft respectively connected between the two support boards. A slide is slidably connected with the transverse rail and the transverse shaft. A milling machine is connected to the slide which is movable between the two support boards. When the fixing bolts are removed, the milling machine is foldable toward the workbench about the two respective pivots to save transportation space and storage space required.
Coolant flow guide for grinder
A coolant flow guide for grinder includes a base including a tilted bottom wall having a predetermined tilt angle, a peripheral wall disposed around the tilted bottom wall and defining with the tilted bottom wall a diversion channel having a top opening and a partition wall located on the tilted bottom wall to divide the diversion channel into two flow passages that slope downwardly to the diversion port, and a workpiece positioning unit mounted on the base above the flow passages for holding a workpiece. Thus, when the grinder is operated to grind the workpiece, the debris thus produced is carried by the applied coolant to flow through the flow passages to the outside of the base via the diversion port.
Workholding system using quarter turn device
A workholding system includes a quarter turn fastener used in workholding applications to quickly hold and release objects, such as tooling, parts, and plates. In one embodiment, a T-slot fastener facilitates the creation of an entire workholding system that facilitates the rapid installation of studs into receiving members. The compact design also makes possible the ability to insert the quarter turn fastener into a device that can fit into a T-slot and still have considerable holding power. The system is lower in cost than other solutions.
MACHINE TOOL HAVING A TOOL SPINDLE AND A LOADING PORTAL
A machine tool is provided with a vertically aligned tool spindle, which is equipped for accommodating tools and which is movable in a vertical direction and in a first horizontal direction. The machine tool further comprises at least one jig for clamping workpieces to be machined. The at least one jig is movable in a second horizontal direction. The tool spindle and the at least one jig are arranged on a common machine frame. There is also provided a workpiece transport device, which is arranged on the machine frame, and which is adapted to perform at least one of introducing unmachined workpieces into the at least one jig and removing machined workpieces from the at least one jig. There is also provided a corresponding method of machining workpieces.
Bridge for laser cutting machines
The invention relates to a bridge (B) for laser cutting machines. In the latter, a laser cutting head (K) is guided over a workpiece support (W) by means of a guide system. The bridge (B) is configured in the form of a substantially straight and box-like profile (1) which has at least one guide for a cutting carriage carrying the laser cutting head (K). According to the invention, at least two side faces (10, 11) of the profile (1) that are located opposite one another with regard to the vertical plane of symmetry (VSE) of the bridge enclose a non-zero angle (a) of less than 180 that opens in the direction of the machining region, at least over a part of the height of said profile (1).
Interconnect frames for SIP modules
Frames and other structures for system-in-package modules that may allow components on boards in the modules to communicate with each other.
Method and Assembly for Docking and Retrieving a Filament Holding Device
A docking assembly and method for docking and retrieving a filament holding device includes a motor casing rod defining a recess, filament holders and docking stations. Each filament holder defines a filament receiver channel for receiving the rod and a stop member that is selectively engaged with the recess of the rod, thus coupling a filament holder to the rod for retrieval of the filament holder. Each docking station includes a deployment latch operable to rotate when the rod is inserted into the docking receiver channel so that the deployment latch urges the stop member to the deployed configuration for coupling together the rod and the filament holder. Thus, a filament holder is captured for removal from the docking station. The docking apparatus includes a release lever that operates in reverse of the deployment latch so as to release a filament holder from the rod back to its docking station.
Lathe provided with eccentricity adjustment mechanism
The present invention provides a lathe that is provided with an eccentricity adjustment mechanism that makes it possible for electrical components that are readily affected by the environment to be eliminated from the turntable; for slip rings in particular, which exhibit problems in terms of the durability of signal transmission during high-speed rotation, to be eliminated as well, and for safe and stable adjustment of workpiece eccentricity to be easily achieved. A lathe provided with an eccentricity adjustment mechanism, in which a linear motion guide unit (6) is provided in an inclined state in an engaging part of the center part of a turntable (1) and an axial-direction-movement part (5A) of a center shaft (5); and, due to the center shaft (5) being moved, the turntable (1) moves in the radial direction by the radial pressing force generated by the linear motion guide unit (6) being inclined, and the eccentricity of the workpiece (3) is adjusted.
5-AXIS MACHINING CENTER
The present invention relates to a machining center, and more particularly, to a machining center which allows a bed and a column to be integrated, thereby being capable of reducing the overall size of the apparatus and saving production costs and allows vibrations and displacements occurring in each of 5 axes to be rapidly transmitted to other axes to minimize relative vibrations and displacements between the axes, thereby being capable of performing high-precision machining.
SPINDLE DEVICE
In a spindle device, a movable member is provided on a cover member, which is attached to a spindle housing and covers the outer peripheral surface of a chuck portion which is a disk-shaped rotating member. The movable member is moved by a gas flowing through a flow passage formed in the cover member and thereby brought into contact with the chuck portion. The movable member is electrically connected to a ground.
