MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool has: a main shaft head that supports the main shaft; a main shaft head support part which supports the main shaft head such that the main shaft head can rotate around a first axis that extends perpendicular to the main shaft axis of rotation; a first rotary feed shaft device which is provided in the main shaft head support part, and rotates and feeds the main shaft head around the first axis; a saddle which supports the main shaft head support part such that the main shaft head support part can rotate around a second axis that is perpendicular to the first axis and inclined with respect to the vertical direction; and a second rotary feed shaft device which is provided in the saddle, and rotates and feeds the main shaft head support part around a second axis of rotation.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool includes a bed including a bottom surface and legs arranged at three positions of the bottom surface. The bed includes two oblique sides arranged such that the bottom surface has a triangular shape. The machine tool also includes a first support surface arranged on the bed and extending along a substantially horizontal first axis, a work table supported by the first support surface so as to move along the first axis, a second support surface arranged on the bed and extending along a substantially horizontal second axis, which is perpendicular to the first axis, and a machining unit supported by the second support surface so as to move along the second axis. The second support surface is located higher than the first support surface.
Machine tool
The disclosure relates to a machine tool. The machine tool includes machine base, guide rails, and movable main structure. The movable main structure is slidably disposed on the machine base via the guide rails, and each guide rail has bearing surfaces. The machine tool has X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis, the Z-axis is substantially parallel to an axis of a chuck of the machine tool, and the Y-axis is substantially parallel to a sliding direction of the movable main structure. The machine tool characterized in that: normal directions of the bearing surfaces of the guide rails are not parallel to the X-axis, the Y-axis, the Z-axis of the machine tool and a reference line that passes through the guide rails.
Linear motion guide unit
In the linear motion guide unit, a retainer plate for retaining rolling elements, or rollers, is prevented from deformation so as to smoothly guide the rollers. The retainer plate is composed of a retainer member, frame members fitted into respective through holes formed in the retainer member, and a fixing member disposed in a longitudinally extending recess of the retainer member. The frame members form a predetermined gap between the fixing member and a carriage. Tightening forces of fastening bolts are not applied to the retainer member, thereby avoiding deformation of the retainer member.
RAIL OF A MACHINE APPARATUS WITH A TRAVELING CARRIAGE
Disclosed is a rail of a machining apparatus having a traveling carriage, wherein rail members of a rail are connected at a rail member connecting portion in series such that running surfaces of adjacent rail members are in contact with each other, wherein the rack members are arranged in series on an attachment surface of the rail member such that an interval between teeth of adjacent rack members at a rack member opposing portion at which the adjacent rack members are opposed to each other is the same as a predetermined tooth pitch of the rack members, and wherein the rack members are attached to an attachment surface of the rail member by bolts which are inserted through the elongated holes formed on the attachment surface and which are screwed into the threaded holes of the rack member.
